Thalasserry biriyani's subtle flavors might be an acquired taste. Give me a side of spiciness any day! It's got that classic flavor, but definitely needs a fiery sidekick to amp up the excitement. Maybe a tad overhyped?

Good afternoon dear Kripal - Wow what a wonderful sight of the ocean from the Malabar Beach Resort . Indeed a beautiful property. Off to Paris restaurant . To start of with the Banana Bhajji and Masala Vada . I am sure in terms of the dishes that you ordered , you would have preferred the Mutton Biryani ( spice laden ) , Chicken 🍗 and then the CB . I am surprised that the restaurant offers Chamundi to pair with the Biryani . Was there no gravy or did I miss it ? It’s wonderful , nonetheless, to have such a wonderful lunch with your buddies . Oh good to know the background on naming the restaurant as Paris . Agree this Biryani would have been much lighter . Oh Kalathappam is sold out . The Kinnathappam looks good and tempting . I love any sweet dish with Jaggery . Oh now time for your 2nd pit stop at a Tea stall - Potato Bonda , Onion Bhajji with Special Chaaya . What was that Puri like dish you had with some meat looking delicacy . Ha ha you wanted to have some IC and finally ended up with having more snacks 😀😀 That’s the fun thing when you go out with buddies . The frequency is well matched . It was a super part 2 0f the Vlog and thoroughly enjoyed it . May God , eternally bless your friendship. Now time for my lunch . Your vlogs are a perfect appetiser for me . Thanks so much for this Vlog . Take care , stay safe and stylish . Loads of love and respect 🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️

      @@abhijithcheneri7827Few Tips
. 1.Don't go looking for Kerala style food. This is the first thing mallus do.Get used to kannada cuisines.
      2. Don't project/compare Kerala culture with the culture in Karnataka. No superiority complex please. When in Rome be like the Romans.
      3. Learn kannada fast. Don't impose Malayalam on the locals.
Don't form separate mallu groups. Assimilate with the local population. You won't find more friendly and hospitable people than kannadigas anywhere.

What you have told is what I'm planning to do for the next 3 years.
As an social human I guess I'll succeed in being as much kannadiga as possible, and is very much looking forward to it.
Already done the same with Punjab. But over there food was a concern.
But here in Mysuru, somany great food places to explore.
The greatest barrier to learn Kannada is the proficiency in Hindi of Kannadigas.
They'll spot that you're not a Kannadiga just by a glance and start speaking in Hindi, afterwhich I'm left with no other option.
But still, being aware that the learning curve is long and approaching slowly will sure help , I hope.
      Thank you so much sir.
I'll happily remind myself to come back and type in my experiences after a few months .

Sea and oceans and large lakes evoke the instinctive fond memories of a peaceful earlier existence in the womb waves on beach remind us about the swooshes created by movement of blood in uterine arteries

Early muslim eateries functioned under fancy non Muslim names to find acceptance among the majority Hindu population. The Hindu population had an aversion to all things Muslim due to the genocide carried out against them during the jihaadi movement of the 1920s. This period of violence on Hindus by Muslims is well documented in the critically acclaimed movie Puzha Muthal Puzha Vare. The director of this movie is an Ex-muslim himself named Ramsimhan.
Paris Hotel happens to be one of those early hotels that carried these fancy names.
