- 2023 Fluke season has finally arrived!! Hope ya'll got off to great start! Here's a video where I covered a lot of beach to cull out a limit with a nice kicker in the end. If you can dedicate an entire day to fish, you will gain a ton of information on where the fluke are biting at all tidal conditions. All of which will be covered in my private lessons.

The fluke love the 1oz Krokodile….I caught a BIG one ,like in your pic in Samdy Hook….fish of a lifetime…..a fluke that fought like a big bluefish…damn thing was 3.5 inches thick!
Lol….caught mine 100 yards south of where you are….at the end of the park
I didn't start watching you and your cousin videos until end of '22 so I've been itching all winter to try out your techniques. Went out yesterday on the yak and had the best opening day I've ever had on fluke. You guys and single jig RULE. Thank you.

Hey thats my boy Long!!!
Can you please show us the rod and reel you’re using how your Reagan and how your jigging to make it work in the surf and stuff like that that would be very educational
Will do!
Nice day of fluking with lots of subtle intel there, Marc. Not to mention that slob at the end! Thanks for sharing. One question: it appears that you’re letting your jig fall with slight tension to achieve a “glide” as opposed to a straight drop? Oh, and do you use the bait keeper clips Roger demonstrated in one of his videos?
I’ll do a demonstration on the pendulum soon! No bait keeper clips. Just direct.
That's not just any surf, that's surf next rocks that the fluke hang out on.
Thick boy at the end lfg
What state are you in?
What tide do you look for when you go out?
It really depends. Best to fish both sides of a tide to figure out when the fluke are hot on the feed. All very spot dependent.
Is this recently? Like yesterday? I went out on opening day and not a single bite and 3 different locations here in NY. Water may be a bit too cold rn
They are 100% in and biting. However, the recent cold front dropped water temps 3-5 degF. That's enough to shut a bite down during certain tidal conditions.
What's that rod holder you use? DId you make it yourself? It looks pretty handy.

Please DM me on my Instagram for lesson details. You can also email me at mchan6@gmail.com. Tough to find a rod for this type of fishing under $100. But there options if your budget is $150.
