Next step for Abuja is develop a mainstream identity. I'm thinking some arts and culture... some statutes, monuments, art installations, something fitting. Abuja as a city and as citizens need to decide what they want to be known for (beyond government). Outdoors living? High brow living? Dining?

You are very right, bro. We need the bronze statues of iconic statesmen and legendary citizens, dead and alive. People like the Great Nnamdi Azikiwe of Africa, Obafemi Awolowo, Chinụa Achebe, Margaret Ekpo, Ahmadu Bello, Aguiyi Ironsi, Kanu Nwankwo, etc.

@@ugowilliams8437 exactly. And then host some regional events, then international events. Naija needs badly to change its reputation, which does not reflect the reality. SA sef get power issue. Joburg get crime issue, but it does not stop ppl from going to Cape Town. Kenya has many similar challenges to Naija but it doesn't stop people from going to Safari. middle east get yawa but that didn't stop people for decades from going to Israel, Jordan, Egypt etc. Abuja is safe from a big city stand point, and can be made a focal point of tourism.

The "pop up" festival/event takeover concept would work very well in Abuja. 2 or 3 yearly festivals would do it, so people would flood in, enjoy Abuja and coordinated events around the city, but then go back to theur country or state.
One of the evenrs should build upon and showcase Abuja's beautiful terrain, serenity to support and promote calmness, wellness and rejuvenation.
A yearly concept to bring people in temporary, like Cannes is spotlighted yearly during the film festival , Glastonbury during the music concert, Edinburgh fringe festival for theatre arts and portugal during Afro Nation.
Abuja needs to find its identity separate from Lagos, using it's natural attributes because it is set apart in that regard.
All yearly attractions but also places where people live and work the rest of the year too.
      Abuja fits that bill.

For one who has traveled to lots of African Cities, Abuja is a well planed City and have a good road network. Abuja may have more private Luxury Houses than most African cities, One Could tell the Nigerians oil money goes to Abuja compared to other Nigerian Cities. Good Job show - casing some of these African Cities. The secret of a good camera man is to learn to Focus your lens on the scenery rather than youaelf. You could do voice - over while the video is going on. Besides, you have a very good presentation, Keep the good work going.

Rio Janeiro or Switzerland....I hate when people see small places like the most dangerous place like Abuja and feel like end of the world... you can appreciate the place, but definitely not better than where you from.. däälü 😊
