Jon, I am both very sad but also in awe of your spoken, raw honesty. I almost don't know what to say. Goodness. I understand, as much as I am able. Everything you said is absolutely valuable and warranted. You have strength and courage to speak it absolutely as it is. It hurts to think and hear of you in such pain. That's the painful reality of mental ill health, it is awful, it is devastating and it can make people want to take their lives. It takes people's life every day, as you have said. Those lives matter, YOUR life matters. The other thing I am in awe about is when you say you guess you have to turn around this awful time, that you are experiencing. To me you are able to do this because of your personal understanding and 'acceptance' of your illness. That takes more strength and courage than many of us can ever imagine. It warms my heart to be able to call you my friend. The last thing I want to say is, returning to your mum's for comfort is exactly the most precious thing a mum would want you to do. It was a perfect choice. Love you matey xx
Thank you Judy, not like me but I'm a bit lost for words at the moment but I know you know me well enough to know I can always cope with the pain one way or another and it will take an awful lot more than my demons and illness to finish me off, love ya x
