"Cut all ties of involvement with country or kin." What good would that ever do? Some of this so called wisdom is a crock of shit, sorry no offense. Leave your family behind, never talk to them again and go join some mountain monastery where you can sit and meditate all day without ambitions? Really? We are not living in year 1200. Samsara is not a prison, it is a way of cultivating our souls. When your soul is ready it will leave Samsara. We are here on the earthly plane to learn to express ourselves physically as this is not possible on the ethereal plane.
