I just purchased a twsbi mini in the rose gold with the 1.1 stub nib haven’t opened it yet but excited too ink it up when I get time even more excited after watching your video🖋 My first twsbi 🖋
This pen in an EF was my first fountain pen. Didn’t care for the nib at all, it was stiff, sharp, kind of scratchy. Just recently bought a replacement 1.1 stub for it….now it’s awesome!
My first TWSBI was an EF, as well, but I ended up enjoying the nib well enough. That said, I absolutely adore the company's 1.1 stubs and am already eyeing the Iris 580 with one (even though I generally am not a big fan of pens that don't post).
If you really want to see the shading properties and sheen and shimmer you have to try a broad nib they are so smoothe and so juicy and you wont be sorry :)
I've actually been debating on picking up a TWSBI bold nib for quite a while. Thanks for the extra push! BTW - Thank you for your review of Pennonia's Chestnut Brown ink. I was having such a hard time deciding if I wanted to pick it up, but then I found your review, and it was an easy decision after that. It's one of my go-to brown inks, now. 😍😍😍
Does the posting effect the converter/piston filler if you happen to turn the posted cap? I usually don't post except for my Kaweco Sport, but I have seen so many positive reviews on the Mini that I'm seriously consider adding one to my collection. 😇🩷🙏🙌
Since you twist to post, the cap essentially will lock into place, so it won't accidentally cause the piston to shift or anything. If I'm not understanding your question, I apologize. Regardless, I haven't had any issues with posting, and I still love this pen (I have it inked up with Wearingeul's Geppetto, right now!). Hope this helpful. Thank you for watching.

Were you able to get a rose gold nib replacement?
