It was just you. Depending on where you live. Because down here in Shreveport Louisiana where we had 105 plus heat and no rain whatsoever for 32 days. Yeah, we all counted the days untill Fall's cooler winds prevail. For the 1st we suffered what California has had, wildfires. Over 600 this mere 2 months. No rain, everything was fair game tinder.

Praying mantis do not consistently eat “little birds and lizards.” Maybe the BIGGEST ones eat dead lizards or birds they find. The video ray is talking about is a video of a lizard that’s being held to a tree by someone or with a clamp while the praying mantis is allowed to eat it alive slowly. It’s solely a video staged for a poorly regulated documentary. A praying mantis is not even remotely strong enough to hold a lizard in place that long to eat it. Let alone a bird that can fly away. Lizards and birds both prey on insects, with ease. It’s the reason mammals and reptiles become the more dominant species on earth, they evolved later and evolved to prey on insects which are readily available. It’s a laughable common misconception that preying mantis eat birds and lizards. That’s only the case if they’re severely injured already or dead. They cannot overpower birds and lizards, end of story. Preying mantis need to hold their prey still in their 2 forearms while they eat them alive most the time, which only other insects tend to be victims of. Birds and lizards would struggle far too much while that happens for them to be efficient meals for a preying mantis. Let alone the fact that the preying mantis would have a 99% chance of being killed themself if they lose their grip.

Mantises are generalist predators of arthropods. The majority of mantises are ambush predators that only feed upon live prey within their reach. They either camouflage themselves and remain stationary, waiting for prey to approach, or stalk their prey with slow, stealthy movements. Larger mantises sometimes eat smaller individuals of their own species, as well as small vertebrates such as lizards, frogs, fish, and particularly small birds.

You should look into foldable solar panels for the form truck or the trailer you haul the skid loader around on. You could put a battery system in and a charge controller so you can run the fuel pump without moving your truck and charge batteries there on the trailer. Fold it down for travel and unfold on site to top the batteries and run/charge small systems.

Well it certainly looks as though no one bothers about things like that until it happens. Ryan senior needs to educate them all. Mind you in saying that he’s the worst offender as he uses the Bobcat more than any of them. That’s why I’m saying 1 individual should be responsible and that would make things easier.

      YES!!!!
I know what you mean. He is a bit dippy at times.
However he should be up to the challenges nowadays or else get shot of.
It’s not rocket science what he does and even then he never appears to get things right.
He’s always asked by Ryan senior to do this and that.
It’s part of Rays remit, but he never seems to see things lying about which should be picked up and also washed down.
Off course Ryan senior is far, far too familiar with his staff.
They appear to take him for granted at times.
Bugs is the best guy there. He just gets on with his work and completely ignores all the hilarity going round about him which starts with Ryan senior.
I cannot understand the likes of a guy like Ryan senior, Businessman, age 46, married, 7 children and at times he acts like a little child with
      all his clowning about.
I just cannot understand the guy as he seems to be very immature at times.

Saw it all go down. Never will forget that.
