This show was perhaps one of the most impactful tv shows I've watched, it really changed my perspective on "evil" people, that If you go far back enough into this evil persons timeline, what you find is a tragedy, and at some point in their life maybe even at birth, they were just plain unlucky to be put into circumstances that later made them "evil".
I can say with confidence that dexter is the best series I have ever seen. From the moment I started watching, I was utterly captivated. I don't know how to say this, but this show changed how I think. It changed my outlook on the world and on people. This show is so good and the music is beautiful. I consider the moment I found out Rita died to be a pivotal moment in my lifetime!

I've just finish the last episode of the series. I binge watch Dexter in 23 days and it's been a nice trip...and I've learn so much about me on many levels.
Well, they succeeded. You do remember the series 3 whole years after it's ending and you will continue to do so. Showtime didn't provide the ending people wanted, and also they didn't risk anything doing just that. in my honest opinion, the ending , though shallow, had the foreseen impact on it's audience .And let's be honest, it's really not THAT bad, considering the last 2 seasons. Peace ^^
Yeah, the ending is memorable because of how shit it was lol *SPOILERS* Deb's death was very unnecessary and Dexter hiding away and becoming a lumberjack was just bad storytelling. What they should've done, was utilized the eight year suspense of who Dexter is and had Miami Metro hunting him down in the final season as that would've been much more fulfilling as opposed to Dexter faking his death and hiding away. The show went downhill after season 4, but they could've redeemed it through suspense and thrill towards the end.
This reminds me of the small flashback he has of rita and the kids man she brought color to his world and then she just died. the saddest character death ever.
To me this is the greatest music ever made. I listen to it everyday in the morning after waking up. God bless Daniel Licht's soul for this beautiful music.

I really like "House" and "Blood Theme" but I think this might be my favorite. This song has so many great moments in the series. It fits into so many different emotions, it's just perfect. I wish more television shows had outstanding composed soundtracks like this, and didn't rely too much on prerecorded artists songs.
