I love Dexter, Micheal C. Hall, everyone involved with the show and especially the Music Composer and Directors.

The most this song fucked me up was at the end of season 4 when trinity gets his revenge... i was so immersed watching the last episode at fucking 4 am completing my binge watch thinking everything is fine. and then dexter walks into his home. then this music..
yea, i wonder what dex would've done to trinity if he told him about rita, like if he would torture him or whatever, but the face arthur makes after dexter says he still has a family is so fucking evil, just waiting for dexter to go home to see his last present for him
I recently finished watching Dexter over the summer and although the ending I feel could be better executed - no pun intended, it was the perfect finale that exemplified the answer Dexter had been looking over all the seasons. So in my opinion if each season can be summed in one word, this is my shot. Season 1: Ascension Season 2: Fear Season 3: Curiosity Season 4: Arrogance Season 5: Compassion Season 6: Inevitability Season 7: Denial Season 8: Acceptance
Quote that describes the ending: "I like to pretend I'm alone. Completely alone. Maybe post-apocalypse or plague... Whatever. No-one left to act normal for. No need to hide who I really am. It would be... freeing. "
The only one I can't understand is Ascension. I mean shouldn't that one also be curiosity? Since Rudy really intrigued him? Hell maybe season three should be called experiment. That's what Miguel was after all.
I think the first season is ascension as dexter feels lifted through the season. He finds a friend and someone who finally understands him. He has to kill him and that elevates him even more. It's the first time he kills to save debra and really doesn't want to kill his brother. Yet he does, he also feels a sense of accomplishment towards the end of the season like he could be accepted. Season three is where by chance his life becomes more 'normal'. He's curious if he can have a friend, a family, his own children, a wife etc.
+Petter Muffin It's annoying how the end just completely discredits so many things that happened. He was beginning to develop feelings, he no longer had a need to kill, his sister said at one point "There's a reason I'm an aunt and not a mother." And then looked sad to suggest she wanted kids.. But the ending was like, okay Debra dies and won't have kids, Dexter's just gonna become some old hermit logger in the middle of nowhere, leaving his family in South America, his brain is gonna be completely wasted, his son will grow up without a father, he won't ever see anyone from Miami Metro again, he will have a lonely rest of his life.. Like wtf Showtime, way to fuck up my favorite show.
+John Hammerfell well did you want it to be peaches and cream, I personally think it was a damn good way to end show. Dexters a serial killer, serial killers don't get happy endings, even dexter.
I saw the TV Show nearly 5 times, after listening to this amazing theme that comforts me and gives me flashbacks from the TV Show I wanna go and watch the show again!! Best Show ever made. Tonight's the night.
Is is one of very few songs that does more than just give me chills. This song actually deeply disturbs me on a visceral level. Like, it really upsets me on the inside. It's strange. It could induce nightmares in me even without the context of a show about serial killers.
I'm still obsessed with this show and this theme. so many years later and I still think about it. it really left a mark on my soul I think. I feel like I'm still so entwined and in love with the characters. I don't think it's possible for me to ever fully move on.
This song is so good, it's haunting yet calming and also eerie, NO other song I know of ticks all of those boxes. 15 years on and this song will always chill my spine.
Came back and listened to this to relive my Dexter watching era. It took me way back. Gives me chills every single time. And for that reason, I am rewatching it from the start!
First time watching the series, almost finished season 2 so far. I think this song is fit and timed PERFECTLY in the show, I get goosebumps every time it hits.
I started the series in October, I'm in the third season. The soundtrack of the series is slowly becoming one with me. Tonight is the night, and it's going to happen again. It has to happen.
Finished watching all seasons throughout July. I was hit with spoilers s2 but it never mattered, I knew what d possible ending can be for someone like Dexter. Glad I stayed till the end best series of my life.
This theme epitomizes what it feels like to repress something and to have it slowly remind you, no, everything is not alright, your "dark passenger" is still with you. Dont you forget it...
I feel like Dexter teaches everyone something about themselves. And that you everyone is hiding something. This by far has been the best show experience I’ve ever had, and I doubt anything can top it. I love this fucking show, 2nd time watching, and yes lots of effort for this comment😂😂
@1:32 .... This music starts in the background when he comes to save his son !! Gave me chills !! Brilliant use of background music ... Dexter Morgan you will always be loved.

Is is one of very few songs that does more than just give me chills. This song actually deeply disturbs me on a visceral level. Like, it really upsets me on the inside. It's strange. It could induce nightmares in me even without the context of a show about serial killers.
i have the exact same feeling.. im disturbed..
Josh Brak This song reminds me of both Dexter & Ice Truck Killer. So yeah, it hits me somewhere in my subconscious.
Josh Brak it was hard for me to sleep because i listen to this
Same

You ppl feel happy ?? Wow and I thought I was a psychopath. Nice. Really nice.
I'm still obsessed with this show and this theme. so many years later and I still think about it. it really left a mark on my soul I think. I feel like I'm still so entwined and in love with the characters. I don't think it's possible for me to ever fully move on.
Beautiful and melancholic melody.
RIP Daniel James Licht.
Tonight's the night, the night I listen to this theme. And it's going to happen again, and again. It has to happen.
I don't get goosebumps or chills to this... I feel relaxed.
ARE YOU THE FUCKING SERIOUS?
RainSauzer O.O
trying to hard
me too! =D
Same.
“No!! Not in front of my babies!!! NOOO”
“Close your eyes, Dexter. It’ll all be over soon. Mommy loves you.”

0:25: When your dark passenger is rising.
Ur not real
Thank you for all of your work, Daniel. Rest in peace. :/
the chills intensify knowing hes coming back
This song is so good, it's haunting yet calming and also eerie, NO other song I know of ticks all of those boxes. 15 years on and this song will always chill my spine.
Listen to the theme from Before the Devil Knows You're Dead
Came back and listened to this to relive my Dexter watching era. It took me way back. Gives me chills every single time. And for that reason, I am rewatching it from the start!
This music gives me HELLA chills
I cant wait for the new season. OMG I've been waiting YEARS
His character is really inspiring and amazing! I teaches a lot for sure because i learned enough from it
I know right?! This show has taught me so many lessons! And Harry's code is just perfect!
Even through the god awful Season Eight, there's one thing I always looked forward to in the end of the episodes.
This amazing piece of music.
I have no words to describe how good this show is. Dexter is magnific and its soundtrack is amazing. I think I'll rewatch it anytime soon now
I was literally just googling yesterday if the shows coming back and today we get the news that it is!
3 Things happened today:
1. my neighbour said he didn't like this song
2. he got hit by a bus
3. I lost my bus driver's license.

Right? Plus, in reality you’d get a harsher consequence if he actually did that (implied). Also, sorry for being technical...
whenever i listen to this, i have a creepy smile on my face, i dont know why but dexter will be with me through out my life...
First time watching the series, almost finished season 2 so far. I think this song is fit and timed PERFECTLY in the show, I get goosebumps every time it hits.
"Stop clowning around, *Wiggles"*
I've just realized that it's not Dexter's hand on the picture but a dying victim of his is weakly trying to push him away. Mindfuck
no it's a dismembered arm
I always thought that it was his hand in a white rubber glove. Now that I look at it it creeps me out...
+Aleksi T Same. Kinda creepy, in a clever way-
Mindfuck. I just realised it.
Nah, that guy's already dead. Dexter is playing.
Nothing gets your blood pumping faster than this song in sync with one of Michael c hall's interesting perseption of life.
Lovely composure.
Listened to this theme today after almost a decade.. psyched !!
Gives me chills every time, the restart with new blood has been amazing... Next week is the finale. Michael C was born to play Dexter ❤️❤️
Sorry about the finale..
"I'm a lot like you you know."
"Yeah right, you're a killer?"
"I'm empty."
Every time i hear this i get this weird feeling in my body kind of like goosebumps. Love this show
Bought a subscription just to watch this show again. Totally worth it.
i didnt know how many ppl liked this series until now. and everyone in the comments are SO ME AHHHH I LOVE IT
Play this at my funeral
🫱🏻🫲🏿
Nah, you will be served with one of your stupid videos after your even more stupid existence comes to it's end.
This show was amazing. The end was sad. Then new blood came out and I found that Harrison was back. It all just blew me away.
I started the series in October, I'm in the third season. The soundtrack of the series is slowly becoming one with me. Tonight is the night, and it's going to happen again. It has to happen.
"There's no light in you, there's no light in me."
~Dexter
Finished watching all seasons throughout July. I was hit with spoilers s2 but it never mattered, I knew what d possible ending can be for someone like Dexter. Glad I stayed till the end best series of my life.
Now that Dexter is back and they are playing this theme often it is bringing so many memories and Miami vibes back.
Thank you for posting this, appreciate it more than you know, really impactful.
I miss dexter.
Slice of life 😁
American Eagle most ironic joke from the show. I love his boat😂
Ace Zavala 😀👍
Tonigts the night. And it will happen again, and again. Has to happen
Dexter experiencing any kind of mild inconvenience: "It's over. They know."
*BLOOD THEME INTENSIFIES*
masuka doesn’t take his donut “it’s over.. he knows”
Breathtaking theme. Literally.
@1:32 .... This music starts in the background when he comes to save his son !! Gave me chills !! Brilliant use of background music ... Dexter Morgan you will always be loved.
Got feelings for this music, don't know why but this is strange, thrilling, addictive, hits deep that we start liking it automatically 🥺😍
I felt this song deeply when it reveals that ice truck killer is dexter's brother, the theme wawoo
Spoilers dude.
Dude what the fuck?
Did you just spoil an 15 year old season?
This is the first serial I watch! Hello from Russia, I love you 😊
Dexter Morgan is back, can't describe the feeling of happiness. This show completes me.
