  • I hope you find this video helpful below you will find a list of tools and parts I used to get this job done.
    Parts:
Mercedes OEM oil filter part#: 276-180-00-09
    Mobil 1 0W-40 Full synthetic 6.9 Liters
    Tools:
    74mm oil filter wrench: amzn.to/3P9bQpT
    13mm Socket: amzn.to/3Fd7BVs
    3/8 ratchet: amzn.to/3h9zshn
    - I recommend getting a ratchet with a flex head. This provides ease of movement and more flexibility, especially when used with other jobs
    8mm socket: amzn.to/3PcsWmB
    1/4 ratchet: amzn.to/3VQGdDA
For the 1/4 ratchet using a flex head gives you ease of movement in tight areas and comes in handy for other jobs.
    1/4” extension: amzn.to/3Y95WJt

I own a 2015 e400 and you're videos have been super helpful in feeling more confident to try and take care of my own maintenance. Really appreciate all the efforts!

Never worked on a Mercedes before, so played it safe and bought a subscription to an online manual. This video was way more informative than the one page on the manual. Thanks for taking the time to make such a thorough but short video. Both my wife and I are happy we avoided a trip to the dealership!

You are very welcome! I’m glad I was able to save you some money. I will be uploading future videos on this car. Tomorrow I will be replacing a tail light on this car. This seems to be a common issue. So that video will come soon.
