Dragonfly and reate are my style but I like the warlocks mechanism, it's an interesting design you don't see often
The Dragonfly reminds me of a knife that was similar. The “Coldsteel” Triple Lock. Cool design.

Exactly what I said ..o used the triple action as my work knife in the skilled trades and lived it til some mofo stole it from me at a jobsite lol..
Number 3 is why so many individuals ended up with criminal records in NYC back when District Attorney Vance was in charge. People were getting stopped left and right for having the tell-tale clip sticking out of their pants pocket.
NYPD officers would then stand there, trying to flick the knives open with exaggerated wrist action. If the blade opened up, the knife was immediately confiscated as being an illegal gravity knife. Then, depending on the officer, the civilian either got a ticket and could expect a huge fine.... Or, he got arrested! A good acquaintance back in the day lost his Spyderco Paramilitary 2 that way. Couldn't afford to replace it. A bus-driver on the job and in full uniform was arrested after his Buck 110 was flicked open! Then the DA went after knife companies for violating the law. Got so bad that Sal (Owner of Spyderco) said no more knives would be shipped to NYC from his company, from now on.
Here's the thing, if you need to flick your wrist for the blade to fully open, that is *NOT* a gravity knife.
I hate the smooth metal handle scales on that last one. Slippery materials are a recipe for disaster with gravity knives, and knives in general honestly

Got my paragon warlock for around $250 and it still holds up wonderfully that mechanism is buttery smooth after you break it in
I have an exo and it has been in my edc for going on a year now, light, ease of use, almost fail proof ( besides user error) easily my favorite carry knife of all time

I use the reate exo daily in the warehouse and it's handy as all get out
The last one is pretty dandy
The last blade has a beautiful hollow grind

The first one? The EXO is between $250-300 depending on who you buy it from. It's the second one, the Warlock, that's stupid expensive. People charge as high as $1,600 for that thing.

@@jcruz5050 Ok, but I need to use a knife at work pretty much every day, and I need it to be quality and durable. I don't use a gun at work every day. This is like saying you can buy a convection oven for a similar price as a used car.
Plus, you also have to remember that these are the prices from the manufacturer. If you buy these in an actual store, and not from the producer's website, it's a lot cheaper. A Benchmade butterfly knife costs like $350 on their website but I got mine from an army surplus for $100 brand new.

Honestly love that pretty much all of these are priced high af for knives, there was an OTF blade I wanted but I am NOT spending $600 on it.

**All of the first and third needs a little bit of gripping so if you don't so if you hit something solid you won't slide your fingers forward onto the edge.

That last one works just like a gravity knife Cold Steel used to make almost 20 years ago. That one had aluminum handles, which made it feel pretty unbalanced
I wish I got the Reat. I have the Paragon Phoenix and love it (our double edge laws are complicated here), and I got the Dragonfly a little after (the cheapest of the bunch at $60 if anyone’s curious) and its super fun, but kind of a letter opener or dress knife for me bc of the 440C and no clip. The best would he the Paragon especially if you can have the Worlock! But if you cant, the Phoenix is by far one of my favorite knives!
