Your putting the heads on and not lining the logos up with the badge and it is driving me nuts lol! The snare sounds great and I like the tapping the rim while tuning idea.
Fantastic insights. Love the tip about tapping the rim to get a clearer sense of the pitch of the head at each tuning lug. That calftone sounds stunning! Great job Louie.
Louis is amazing!
😎👍LOUIE!!!
I'm still rockin' da Gretsch bro!!!
Mics? Pre amps? Effects? Mastering? Room? Etc...?
go Louie!
First tuning step: Buy a Pearl Masterworks snare drum.
I'd spect color video. Please.
Dude’s hands tho
I find the lack of colour disturbing...
😐
Every respect to Louie Palmer, but the final snare sound is not my cup of tea. Too high, too sharp, too ringy.
Too high? bruh it's still way lower than my lowest pitch lol
my idea of being too high, would be higher than what James Brown drummers did in tha late 60's and 70's but u see how it worked out for James Brown and his drummers on how they was more sampled than anyone else lol
@@blakedmc1989DrumsHD Depends on music you play. If someone play heavy rock 'n' roll like Motorhead, this is too tight.
@@ivanbajovic3476 there's alot of heavy Rock n Roll drummers who use very high pitch snares sometimes higher than me
