Depends on who you listen to. It's the weird thing about Malice Mizer: They went from Gothic-era French styles in their look and sound, to being the drastically unique band that Gackt lead them to. After poor Kami died and Klaha took over for him, of course the band was a little depressed and still greiving. If you pay attention, all throughout the rest of the band's life together they did have a really dark, heavy feeling about them. This stuck most to Mana, who still seems happy to be dark.
I dont know whats wrong with people klaha has an amazing voice Its deep, smooth and has an opera feel , its beautiful, personally I love the klaha era the most, Bara no seidou is my favorite album, Aside from that I always wonder what if kami were there? I feel as a drummer he would have fitted beautifully with this era given that the music gives alot of emphasis to the instrumental, I would have loved to see him be there, unfortunately thats impossible, But its just a thought,

This video is ripped from a TV interview where they showed this. It was planned to come on DVD on "Gardenia ~de l'image~", but it got delayed and then canceled. I really wonder what happened to that, maybe the computer crashed and they lost the files? It's kinda sad that we will never see this in good quality and the "behind the scenes" that would also have probably been on the DVD, but I'm so happy that someone decided to record that Gardenia TV interview, so we still have this.
I've always loved this song. Klaha's voice is absolutely amazing, like flawless smooth dark chocolate, and this band is just so beautiful. It's been five years, and I'm so thankful for being introduced to them.

You know... One of the things I could say I'd regret from my life is the fact that I never heard Malice Mizer play live. Sure I get to hear them on their LPs and what have you, yet I feel slightly empty due to the fact that I never saw them live. :'(

Personally, I love it. Especially since Mana doesn't really go over board with it. I love it when he acts all cutesy on stage like a young girl =) He just kinda... side steps around and claps his hands. I think what really endears him to people is that he isn't in your face about it... it just seems very natural, there really isn't even a "shock" factor about it, for instance, like there someone named Chris Crocker. I'm so glad he has his own band =) I love his compositional style.

I have my friend to thank a whole bunch for introducing me to this kind of music, Mana's music in particular. She dresses kind of in Lolita gothic sometimes and her outfits are really pretty. It sounds like anime music because most anime use Jrock, Jpop, or Jmetal (rarely Jmetal) for their introduction and ending themes. But this is one of their most popular songs, so I've figured, and it does quite sound like a song one would hear for an intro to a really good anime, maybe even an ending theme.

dragonoftheshadow1 Tetsu's era was incredible and unfortunately a lot of people forget about him. I always accidentally find myself thinking 'what would Malice Mizer have become if Tetsu would've stayed?' Still, Klaha has one of the greatest voices of all time in my opinion.

I'm finding it quite surprising that nobody has mentioned Kami-San as of yet, like the instrument he played I think he was the heart of the band. Don't get me wrong I love this song and what Klaha brings to it but Kami was still important. Gackt was good for the band too but he's doing much better as a solo artist.

Klaha is the Singer, and he's supposed to be a gentleman, hense teh arostocratic attire. Kozi is a red pierrot, Yu~ki I suppose is also a gentleman in this, and Mana is the lovely girl. The small child Im guessing is Gardenia.

Aunque tenían planeado continuar con Malice Mizer y sacar un nuevo album para el año siguiente, tras varias reuniones se dieron cuenta de que las metas de cada integrante ya habían cambiado y eran muy diferentes a comparación de un tiempo atrás, en aquel momento era necesaria la separación para poder cumplirlas. Fue así que decidieron poner una pausa indefinida en Malice Mizer.
