I skimmed the video and the wiki. There should be no reason not use the the brownies over the cookies for chocolate. In the early game you could just use both because lack of pans. Both pay 3 coins, but brownies take 9s(4.5s) to cook while cookies take 18s(9s). Brownies have 6 portions, cookies have 4. Also the reason the oven cooks faster then the hob is because the oven has 2x cook speed bonus. While the starter hob has a modifier of 0.75. Cookie 3 coins, Sponge Cake 5 coins, Cupcake 5 coins, Doughnut 5 coins, Brownies 3 coins, Cherry pie 3 coins. DAAM 45s(22.5s) for cake is forever.
Good to see the numbers on a lot of that. The one thing I'm wondering is where Price moves the cake from Hob to Oven, with the 2x cook time versus time already spent cooking on the hob, does that save a lot of time or anything like that?
