Dev of American Breakfast here! So what do you guys think about the new balancing for the mod? As you could see, I changed it so customers now order 1-2 (instead of 1-3) in a stack, and the third pancake is a new card. Personally, right now I think the pancakes give a lil bit too much money so I'm thinking of making it so they give $3 instead of $5 per cake.
Ok, of all the things I've learned from this series about the differences between American food vocab and British food vocab, flapjack is by far the one that's shocked me the most. A flapjack is the same as a pancake for the majority of the US?! Is that true?! I mean, I know our pancakes are different to yours (what we call pancakes you call crêpes) but I've had American pancakes and they're nothing like what we call flapjacks. A flapjack in the UK can have a fair amount of variety depending on if it's homemade or shop bought etc etc, but the basic gist is that it's little squares or bars of oats, butter, sugar and golden syrup baked. The fact that a flapjack in the US is a pancake has _blown my mind_
Same. I'm not even british, but that's how I imagine a flapjack. And when I wrote flapjack into google to see what they were talking about, all I got was things that look like a muesli bar.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN FLAPJACKS ARE THE SAME A PANCAKES IN AMERICA? Are you telling me that you’re missing out on the most amazing soft honey and oats bars?
I'm sorry but Aenne really has a point Ash really does like to just stand around and do nothing but talk while Aenne serves most of the tables, and it isn't just this video that it happens it is a common occurrence. So personally I don't think it is too much to ask to help with the extras if you are going to just stand around doing nothing anyway Ash. I watch most of Stumpts vids and see a lot of yelling at Aenne when they do more than they should have to and it is kinda frustrating. Any way this probably won't even be read but if it is at least someone says something about it.
I know things are simplified because video game, but it still Upsets me to see you chopping an onion, dunking it in pure flour, and putting it directly on a burner to make "onion rings" 😂 Likewise, it makes me cringe to think of slapping some bacon down directly on a counter
I love this channel so much like I started watching when I was 10 years old, almost an adult and still watch it. Never commented but what counts is presence right? 🐣
I'm about to add to the pancake lore. In some states in the north east pancakes are also called " Stacks " it confused me for the longest time because I didn't understand what stacks meant. I'm team waffles all the way.
But hear me out: Hancock from Fallout 4.. Recently been watchin someone play fallout 4 (for their first time) and they got to Good Neighbor and Hancock introduced himself and swagger and rizz
Honestly if Pokemon Unite ever comes to steam I'd be grinding it, it was fun for what it is. But needing to pay extra for nintendos sorry excuse for online play is not something Im willing to put up with

Yep they’re the same here. Never even really knew flapjacks were something else
Yeah what you call flapjacks in the uk we might call a protein bar or like a part of trail mix 😅

Technically we have what you're describing, but we call them granola bars.

As an american... You just described a granola bar to me, and is something I only eat while hiking.
Nah we have granola bars as well and they're different from flapjacks. Like, flapjacks are soft and chewy
we definitely have all manner of honey, oats, granola and grain bars.. they're just not called flapjacks
@@watchingvids423 for me as a Brit a granola bar is dry and crunchy usually whereas a flapjack is soft and chewy and usually stuck together with honey
You basically spoke simish the entire video and I love it
