Fantastic performance, the balance, control and content reminded me of the better dancers from the Mod era around 1966-70. From me that is the ultimate compliment.
Great dancing. Sharon never misses a beat. For me that's massively important. It's great to keep the rhythm, keep the flow and be inventive and creative constantly and not repeat moves too much. This has got to be one of my favorite clips on NS ever.
Hey , amazing hun. Love your tutorials and wondered if we would see you again on UA-cam as I’m not on any other ones like Facebook, Twitter etc, so it’s fantastic to see you again strutting your stuff. Northern soul is my passion music and moves 👍💃✊🥰
@@danceyourselfblonde9350 F**K them. jealous you go girl you look smart, on beat, classy as, you can’t be knocked just coz they canny do a full tune. probably like me I’m done in one dance haha. Let it go over your head girl. Funny old crew sometimes.. KOKO
Great to see you back , long time, excellent moves as always. Please keep the videos up , and have you got a xmas special for us,because everyday is great when we can see you strut your stuff KFT
Blimey …Northern Soul dancing becomes a Caberet act….in my 64 years in planet earth mostly as a Northern Soul fanatic …never thought I’d see this…ah well I suppose it’s relatively entertaining for those poor unfortunate folk not to know about Northern Soul..,not bad dancjng by the way!
Hi Ian appreciate your comments , it was my style just to show people for a minute how I dance to NS but it was difficult because I normally just dance when a track comes on … Sharing my love of NS…
I get you... As like you, I am a first generation soulie... Her steps have been studied and learnt. If the music is to survive we must be grateful that younger folk are keeping it alive. She moves well all the same. Annoying for me is a lot of female dancers dance on the balls of their feet. I must get back out there....
@@kimsutherland977 hi Kim no steps were learnt that’s just me freestyling and if you notice I cross over as I thought I lost the beat at some point but brought it back on track.. appreciate its not to everyone’s style and we are all different which is why I love northern soul so much.
@@danceyourselfblonde9350 Hi nice to meet you. I am absolutely NOT having a go at you. I am just saying that there is a difference to younger folk dancing to northern than back in the day when we just hit the floor. I hung out with all male dancers and unless you could hold your own with them, you were in trouble. I don't think northern soul dance tutorials are helping tbh. The moves are learnt and as you know its all in the tempo, move your own feet how you feel it, just do it. Like you I am at home on the dancefloor, no fear. Keep on keepin on lady... KTF.
@@kimsutherland977 I didn’t think you were and no offence has been taken. I have always said northern soul was never taught you just turned up heard a track and danced , I learnt by watching and then developed my own style which is what I’ve tried to teach as many people say they want to go to a northern soul event but have the fear of hitting the dance floor so this was a bit of fun whilst in lockdown to help people move and stay as sane as possible. Old school shuffling cannot be beaten , I’ve loaded some more dance videos which show the dance in a more relaxed way and hope you enjoy them. kTF
Thankyou for tour opinion however This is how I feel the music and I am not a trained dancer.. I have been dancing northern soul for many many years and there is no right or wrong way to dance .
@@danceyourselfblonde9350 Thank you for your reply, it was much appreciated. I come from 'back in the day' when clubs were gritty - mid-70s and NS was only known to a small group...Keep up the good work and keep the faith..as I mentioned a lovely display and you looked to be having a great time ...

@@kimsutherland977 I understand your point of view and yes I am a bit younger than the ole skool dancers, my inspiaation was Keb Darge and used to go to the 100 club and twisted wheel, I found men always danced differently from the ladies more acrobatics and fast spins , I am self taught and this display was a cabaret so had to cover the floor more which we didn't do as the allnighters were packed and your floor space was like a small postage stamp. It's great though that the music scene is still alive and the youngsters need to keep coming as the oldies knees are carput with all the shuffling. KTF KIM
@@danceyourselfblonde9350 appreciate your response, and as I said previously, in no way am I having a dig at you. Not everyone is as old and creaky to have been a part of the casino era... Lucky them from the creaky point of view! I too think its great that younger people are enjoying the scene and have a love for the music. Its the only way to keep it alive. Please don't teach the younger generation to dance like this and say its northern soul, yes you can move across the floor but for me it's nothing like northen apart from the odd spin, sorry 🤔
Can we all just appreciate how absolutely stunning this lady looks out on that floor! Beautiful!
That is so kind Thankyou for your comment poppy
Absolutely!🕺👍

Nope, think that would be ultimate insult to the nsoul scene.
