That first vod, basically the exact same thing happened to me before, also against Aatrox, but he had TP. Jungler came twice on a frozen wave and basically took me out of the game.
It was just a badly played game in general, I did not do well in any of these games and I believe it was my first one of the day too so I'm sure it was just influenced by these factors. But yes you're correct.
Sometimes farming isn't enough vs certain champions and risks have to be made, those risks need to be performed better and be more correct overall. I agree after some chain deaths, but that's the point of these VODS too, I'm not supposed to show good play with these, I'm showing the negative side of common laning situations and trying to explain the negatives in what I'm doing.
Nothing is more stressful than going wrong, losing the best phase of the game being our early game champion, and when trying to play to recover our stupid teammates fill us with Spam Ping and in the chat they write "gg top gap report"
Personally if you're playing with ignite I don't really see the point spending that gold to delay my item spike with anti heal, because no matter the outcome if you're already losing in lane it really isn't enough to turn the fight without completed item vs Aatrox. In this case it would be better out of lane for my team, which I'd argue is definitely better than in the lane which delays my eclipse spike.

At 12:30 the wave actually wasn’t frozen, Aatrox killed the 4 caster freeze so it would’ve slow pushed back to you.

At 10:30 why did you not use ignite on first dash? Pretty sure it would have been a lane win play

Dude with him that behind it would not have swung the 1v1, and would have instead just delayed his item 1 completion, which is huge deal while behind.
