The way I clicked off one video to watch this, the speed was nuts! FINALLY, my favourite character of Tekken & Soul Calibur has his own gameplay & trailer! Long OVERDUE, I can now finally rest! Cinematics, his move list, old and new moves, character design is off the scale! Bandai Namco are doing their ting! Do I want to see more move sets from Yoshimitsu? UM YES PLEASE!! Also a somewhat arcade story mode about him would be interesting and I’m here for it!

yoshimitsu is the name of the blade, so whoever weilds it has the title of "yoshimitsu", the blade is passed down within the manji clan which is what yoshi refers to in the special intro with bryan. Every tekken game there's a different person weilding yoshimitsu. Correct me if im wrong in soul calibur 5 yoshimitsu killed the yoshimitsu in sould calibur 4 to become yoshimitsu in soul calibur 5
It's been the same guy wielding the blade in Tekken, it's only in Soul Calibur where there's been two different Yoshimitsu's. So in total, there's only been three to wield the blade (that have been playable).

Jei is reaching with his imagination again. Lol all you have to do is look at the lore instead of making up stories. Yoshimitsu is NOT dead nor is he trapped in the sword.
His sword is cursed and will lose its power and drive its user insane if it does not kill evildoers for a prolonged amount of time.
In summary, it is corrupted with an unquenchable bloodlust that eventually drives its weilder insane.
This is why Yoshimitsu is always trying to suppress the sword and feeds it evildoers.
He's better than ever!
