Tip for Main Man from a Yoshi main: (Work in Progress, Will Edit) 1) If Yoshi likes to do full crouch swordsweeps neutral, backdash away. The swordsweep has a pretty short range. (New Edit) 2) If Yoshi is partying hard, adapt a patient play style. Treat the opponent like a toxic Eddy button masher. Stay away and wait for an opening. A good Yoshimitsu will rely on quicker unblockables since Yoshi doesn't have a "decent" low poke. Bait out his unsafe moves, especially his flash. This type of playstyle is Yoshi's weakness. And yes, I'm aware that it's easier said than done. ✌😅
@@aljunaidbaunto3808 You're welcome! I'll add some stuff later on. Any questions regarding Yoshi? It will help me add more tips playing against him. ✌😅
When playing Jin, you just gotta be aggressive against yoshi or you have to turtle at range two. Most of the "strings" you saw aren't strings but just quick moves stacked together, most of which are negative on block. Jin has a lot of good aggressive moves with good frames. Yoshi has no range really either, so if you turtle at range two, he either has a launch punishable low to poke, a minus 14 ch mid launcher and a high ch launcher. So his options are extremely limited at that range and 2/3 times you can get a launch just by ducking at range because almost no yoshi will throw out cd1 since it's so easy to launch punish.

4 Wins vs 8 Losses
A good Yoshimitsu USUALLY has good conditioning, mix-ups, okizeme and unblockable usage
Which means Yoshimitsus are experts at mindgames and that's just frustrating
Need the yoshi trailer immediately
Me at 3:00 - where's the Jin destruction?
Me at 23:20 low parry - oh damn
This guy might rival Eyemusician's Yoshi, IMO
tmm blocked so many lows that he could have easily launch punish, instead of getting just a ws4
For real
that's what happen when u don't know the match up. on top of that Yoshi is really rare, idk about u but i hardly ever see Yoshi when i play ranked. and when i do meet Yoshi, i already forgotten which and what move that are punishable
@@syaredzaashrafi1101 exactly! Spot on mate
@@syaredzaashrafi1101 When i face smt that i dont know how it work then i block a big low the first thing i try is launch punish. If it dont work i just try something else, but at least i will know that i cant lauch punish that move.
TMM didnt try even once to punish yoshi fc4 with his ws2. His mind was beyond lost in this match up that he wasnt even thinking properly.
OK, dunno about jin punishment moves but some of yoshi lows at tip range are not punishable by some of the cast.
Ex: the FC 4
P.s. I dunno why I replied to a 2 year old comment
If he didn’t like the flash move so much he would’ve won every round. Great matches
They can say every yoshimitsu main is conected in mind
Which is why it's feels so good to see one harakiri that annoys the life out of someone
Gotta love how Eric from that 70’s show is fighting yoshi
PSA: Attention all Tekken players. If you can understand the flow of a match, your movement and execution options, coupled with an understanding of the opponent and their 'flow', THIS is the level of decimation you can achieve. Fight as many of us as you can. Never surrender. I will see you when I'm looking at you.
I'd argue that Eyemusican is one of the best Yoshi players.
When you lose against yoshimitsu you know something ain't right, I probably blame it on my buttons 😂
awesome dude for you to post such a humble video of a player who's great instead of just promoting yourself! :)
4:34 was primo Jin play, just hard to keep that kind of pressure up against this level of Yoshimitsu player
Dude you got smashed in the 3rd match😂 Brilliant. Thanks for the videos. Best Tekken content EVER.
My Favorite character for all time, Yoshimitsu 😍
Cool profile pic
Bro it's like your playing another game than everyone else who starts off rounds doing combos like that!? And gets a perfect that many times against a player like this, your dope to watch man!
The strongest ever? Eyemusician is on another level entirely. This guy is way too unsafe, good offensively but reckless.
Yes he was but late video he got a bit cocky. Most of his move what he did was dangerous to use, if ur oponent knows abouth it
tritone11 he said at the intro of the video he said that "this is the strongest yoshi I have ever seen *online that is* "
Yeah but reckless is most yoshi mains
CCRS I think it’s more like the strongest Yoshimitsu player he has met in online ranked like from some random person, not necessarily the strongest Yoshimitsu out there in the world or known person
Yoshi is so difficult to play with but nice to see mastered in action
really good sword sweeps
I like how the Yoshi player doesn’t even need to put away his sword, but does so anyway.
Thought it was eyemusician.
No,bowl haircut is boring
Noooo eyemuscian is wayyyy more stance heavy trolling. This yoshi is a Actually mild compared to the ones I’ve encountered
Eye players a lot safer then this guy and has way better reads and defense. Hard to even touch or time against Eye if he has you downloaded.
yoshi walking with his sword skill traumatized me its fucking scary to me
Whether anyone feels that eye musician is better or not.. this is an entertaining yoshi to watch! #wow
Am I going to win a match? That's deep. I fear Yoshi now
21:35 why on earth would you go for that
Guess he thought it still tracked
@@miguelbueno774 aint no way he got to that rank with jin and didn't know that move has the worst tracking in the entire game. His opponent had like 1% health, he could've hit a sweep or anything after that failed rage drive flash
to be fair it's not a viable unblockable in the first place so it shouldn't be surprising if he didn't know shit about it
Jesse Canada seems like you’re just trying to shit on mainman here more than anything
Just, for fun you know.
As Yoshi would say AH ha ha HA ha! Love watching crazy Yoshimitsu plays!
You have to be SUPER aggressive against a good Yoshi. You can't let them start to even THINK about throwing a party!
Really sick to watch yoshi. Matches were fire.
Tekken players: Yoshimitsu is such a crazy character so fun to watch
Soul calibur players: You obviously don’t know who Voldo is that guy takes the wacky cake lol
I'm gonna miss being able to play against the same one random guy in ranked
says he destroys jin:"gets destroyed by jin on the first fight...
It's like he,s creating combinations I have never seen
