Well, exercises and futility IV works well as second track. I is built to be a opener, but 4 initial power chord section carries on the energy of I. To change things a little bit, mdlosci ii for the blast beasts and shorter length. They are playing the same setlist this current tour, except for groza III and hearts toward none (they play age of excuse I and III instead)
One of the best, bar none. However, others to consider for those not up on the scene: Uada, Kriegsmaschine (same dudes) & Havukruunu are likely easy intros, but there is also Zhrine, Svarduadi (sic?), Deathspell Omega, and a bunch more great ones... I can't think of others atm

For anyone looking decent quality video of live mgla I recommend searching for Armageddon descends V from Lithuania. A bit older live show, but proper audio and video quality
When I heard Behemoth for the first time. I thought they were amazing, and again I'm blown away by this band. This band is amazing. The same thing goes for Septic Flesh and Rotting Christ as well. Poland and Greece are coming out with such great metal bands. There definitely is a black metal renaissance going on in those countries. Sadly I live in America home to the Fascist Evangelical Christians and Corporate Totalitarianism, where people are brainwashed t to listen to Pop, Mumble Rap, Country, and Christian Rock :( to my disgust. Hopefully these guys can tour the States someday and wake people up and realize Christianity and the Abrahamic God is not your friend, but metal is.
I’m from the states. Pacific Northwest area. Don’t be so narrow minded in your statements. There are so many many people here in the states that connect and feel this shit. I love Mgła. Behemoth. Taake, Destroyer 666, Frosthelm, and so many other bands. Who cares what diety people want to worship. Their on the own path with their own agenda. As you are on yours.
Always will support these guys. Sadly i couldnt see them life since "Antifa" pressured the Venue.. here in Nuremberg Germany. Donated my ticket money tough
Happens all the time, in due honesty. Our left wing ideologists in Germany are free to reign and obstruct all kinds of grand progress, see Leipzig, Hambach, .... and Berlin. At least right wing terror is fought, I hope the left will be mitigated, soon also.
This is the top band in the world, and has been for the last four years. Their new album is rumored to be coming out soon and is probably the most anticipated music in history.
It's common in black metal to have disguises using cloaks, masks, or corpse paint. I think it has something to do with separating the art from the artist....as if they wish to present the music as a pure idea without a human face.
I read the comments, and a few people say MGLA are an underated band. I don't know how anyone could think that because MGLA is the top band of all music genres in the world, especially in metal. If someone claims to like rock/metal and doesn't know about MGLA, well they're either braindead or don't listen to music.
My god...this band is so fucking sick. Their live performance is an onslaught. I only hope I can see them in the US one day. They seem to be allergic to North America.
No rock stars - only great music!

Best black metal band on the planet in this moment.

Deathspell omega is the best in my opinion
Darkthrone is the best out there. Mgla us good but not darkthrone
Drudkh
Watain, of course
MGLA > all
No golden thrones to follow
No shrines of solace to seek
Apart from entire phenomenon of Mgła, Darkside is a very special event of skill, precision and speed.
Feel like these guys shop at the same clothing and guitar store.
I need a new MGLA album in my life 😭
one is coming this year

The best drummer
The great Marciej!
Awesome music... but what 's even more awesome are their lyrics. Search them out. You'll love this band even more.
true
That drummer is insane. And the rest of the band sounds incredibly tight considering the context of how long they’ve played together.
Id hope theyd be tight after almost 20 years
excellent drummer, a pleasure to see and hear him in live !
Mgła was doing social distancing and masked faces for years and nobody cares ! :D
I love that band! Can't wait to see them one day Live.
8:20 Exercises in Futility IV, gotta love the crowd reaction, a few black metal bands can cause that
44:03 - 1000000 brilliant song from this band. endless love to this masterpiece...

So epic. Wish they’d play with hearts towards none II. Still absolutely amazing though
FFS, come to Toronto!! Our scene is chomping at the bit to see you guys but you only do a festival in the states or two.
