You better be good this Christmas someone is watching you, he might be your bus driver. 😀🎄 Ha ! Ha!
Love that the bow wasn't 3D. Always think that would make it hard to use on a table. Flat is better for me.
Right? I'd set something on the bow and it would wobble. lol I need flat every time!
The topper is adorable. I need a sewing angel!
Really beautiful piecing and embroidery, thanks so much Becky.
Becky, you are amazing. Love the wreaths and the bow. Have a wonderful Christmas 💝
Such excellent clear instructions! Thank you!
Happy Holidays, thank you for all your great videos. I’’m looking forward to another sewtastic year in 2023.
Hey!!!! Been a minute since I have had time to watch you!!!!
I've been wondering where you've been young lady! lol :-) Glad to see you again!
I have enjoyed this year. Thank you so much for a beautifully done year!
I love it, I need to make this one! Can't wait to start vol 2
Just gorgeous. Love the fabric choices on this one. GOOD JOB!
Thank you. New to using SNC & Simply Applique
Love this video. I have not done much with my DX. Will have to use it.
You look awesome! I need to get on whatever diet you are on!
Thank you! Weight Watchers my friend! Almost a year now. We reached goal after 7 months in July and have been on maintenance since then. We did the app vs. attending meetings.
@@PowerToolsWithThread I’m going to start back on WW after the holidays. It does work but takes some discipline 🥹 Good job! You look great!
Isn’t technology amazing 🎉
Merry Christmas Becky. Hope your Holiday is Bright and Cheerful. Wish you could do the Kimberbell Cuties a month in advance. That way I can use them in the appropriate month. I will be excited to sew along with you.
Hi Mary! Yes! I promise all Cuties will now be done the month prior. It was a busy year but now I'm on track to begin right away for Jan.
Yeah!!!
Thanks I just bougth Simply Applique and done nothing with it I will try for this projects Thanks
It is amazing watching your multi needle unit! In the beginning it looked like your left thumb had a bandage on it? That is a great project..My scan and cut is only a sdx225 but hope to upgrade someday so it will work with my Brother sewing machine!
Yep, I cut my thumb today while making dinner. lol Not a rotary cutter blade injury as you might expect. :) Even if you don't upgrade, you'll still enjoy a USB or wireless transfer to your machine. It's so hard to keep up with technology!
Am I crazy or did the bow finished product end up in a different place on the wreath than when you first made your appliqué file???
Can you explain more of your statement about the US B and wireless please? (From Scan and Cut to my Luminaire 3?) . I bought the scan and cut from a friend about 6 months ago after my Silhouette wore out and got my new sewing machine a month ago and just learning how to use it. I sure do appreciate all your videos but I have a lot to learn! Thank you!
Jeepers, I need a 10 needle!!!
Yes...yes you do! lol I love mine. If you get one, would you mention you saw it on my channel and that I do tutorials on it? It's not worth a cup of coffee, but it gets my name familiar with the dealers. :)
@@PowerToolsWithThread you bet!
I love it!!! Will you be doing the new cuties?
Yes! Look for a video later this month!
@@PowerToolsWithThread so excited to see that. Have a wonderful Christmas season. I want to thank you for the inspiration.
Morning from Australia. I was wondering instead of using the software could you do the same in My design centre on the Laminaire?
In theory, yes. I know how to share applique from the Luminaire to the SNC 325/330D using MyConnection. I've tried to move from SNC to the Luminaire, and I see how to share from the SNC to Lumi on the SNC, but I can't figure out how to retrieve the design from the Data Pocket on the Lumi. I have XP2 and I'm on the list for the XP3. Perhaps I'll see it with the upgrade? If you figure it out, let me know! lol I'm 'this' close!
I am new to using the scan n cut with an embroidery machine. My husband bought me both at the Quilt Show. I am writing this comment before the video stops, but am I missing something? It looks like when you opened the file on your embroidery machine the bow was flipped toward the middle of the wreath instead of hanging down. I went back and reviewed the video. I think what happened was you decided to have the bow hang from the top of the inside circle instead of below the bottom of the inside circle. Please excuse the comment if I’m incorrect or you address this issue later. BTW, I love your UA-cam channel!
I went back just to be sure I wasn’t confused.
You're correct! I moved the bow to be at the top of the wreath just like the pattern called for vs. at the bottom like the SNC had it. I didn't mention it in the video. lol Sorry!
Nope, you're not confused. I moved the bow to be at the top of the wreath just like the pattern called for vs. at the bottom like the SNC had it. I didn't mention it in the video. lol Sorry!
@@PowerToolsWithThread I think it looks better where you placed it anyway. Just didn’t know if it was a glitch. Thanks for your prompt reply.
Hello what is the difference in the kimberbell bench pillows sewing version and cd version?
Usually the sewing version doesn't include embroidery files. It's made for users without an embroidery machine.
I didn’t hear what blade u used on the ScanNCut?
I used the standard black blade.
Is Simply Applique embroidery software a part of Embrillance? I noticed you used BES4 software. Can this be done with one of the subsets of Embrillance? I only want to purchase 1 software system useable on a MAC. Thank yuo for a great video.
Hi Cathy, YES! You can do this in Embrilliance. You need Stitch Artist 2 and it will work on a Mac. Stitch Artist 2 has all the tools of Stitch Artist 1 so no need to buy 1 if you're getting 2. Here's my link to Embrilliance - bit.ly/3EX5Mfm And here's a video of how I did it using that module - ua-cam.com/video/qUXDdi4LF9I/v-deo.html
Thank you for your reply and the information regarding Embrillance Artist 1 & 2.. This was a great video, one that I will watch again and again.
Thank you Becky for your quick response. You are a great teacher & enjoyable to watch. I will be following up on that link to Embrillance.
How did u get the wreath design to appear in Brotjer Canvas in my projects?
Before cutting the fabric, I saved each piece to the Cloud.
Can this be done on Embrilliance?
It can, but you need Stitch Artist 2 in order to import that .fcm file from the SNC or Canvas. bit.ly/3EX5Mfm
When you changed the position of the bow, were you able to change it as a PES file or did you have to convert it to a BRF file?
Still having problems learning simple app.
How to place and lay the pieces i order
Before I closed that window, I saved the brf working file, so I was able to go back into it and move the bow, and then convert to applique again and saved as a new pes file. Sorry I didn't show that. I decided at the last minute to put the bow on the top of the wreath like the pattern showed vs. how it was in the SNC.
You move the order of the pieces in the left panel on the Sequence View vs. in the center screen. I have a very detailed video of this when I made Chicken Salad. This may help - ua-cam.com/video/_M7RtC0fFEQ/v-deo.html
@@PowerToolsWithThread OK. That was my line of thought. I didn't think you could actually change the pieces in a PES, only size. Thank you, that answered that question. And I like the bow on the revision better too.
