I work at Mountain Motorsports in Roswell, GA and get to mess with Maverick's from time to time. I'm a full on bike guy, but some of those Maverick's are fast as fuck with the proper performance mods installed. I was impressed.
They are definitely way faster than most people would think.

Wouldn't it make more sense to just use wheelie control on the gixer? My R1M seems to lauch and accelerate just fine in a controllable manner regardless what setting my lift control is set to.

The orange bikes, (Can ams) back in the seventies were so tall I was on my tippy tip toe of my boot.
Now keep the Gixxer in 3rd gear and then it'll probably be close.
