I thought that in the 60's in Harrogate the jazz club was a blast on a Saturday night, Sunday lunch was even better, however, I so wish Tuba Skinny would come across to these shores 🤞🤞🫡 xxx
Sometimes the most interesting voices on a tune like this are the ones you can hardly hear. Listen consciously to the soft voice of Ewan Bleach's sax from the beginning! And then, his short solo... I find no words to comment.
Thank you Pops for capturing this great Dixieland band and documenting the song and its performance.
So amazing, so beautiful. Worth going to New Orleans just to see them.

I always enjoy Ewan's bluesy sax playing. I wish Tuba Skinny featured the saxophone more often. Craig plays a mean sax also.
I too miss having a sax; it adds so much to the mix. Ewan is not going to be around much but there have been other good sax players involved.
Jonathan Doyle!
To be sat with a beer 🍺 and a bourbon...PERFECTION XX
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE 🙏🏼 come to England 🏴 xxxxxx
Simply first-rate! Thank you for sharing.

Great stuff Pops, your comments are always insightful. Cheers, Stephen
Thank you, Stephen.
Wish I'd been able to catch them with Ewan. Thanks for this, though!

The version of this song recorded at at Little Brown Church (on UA-cam) is a masterpiece.
