Fun fact last year I asked for a Bass for Christmas, My mom and her bf were happy that I wanted to play an instrument. Then we watched Scott Pilgrim vs the world. They saw how much I loved that move and since Scott was a bassist they got me a bass as an early present.
This girl is a natural performer, I love her expressions, such an energetic character!!

For those interested, scott pilgrim is a good intro to the canadian indie scene. Even though there are americans in the works (beck writes most of sex bob ombs songs, frank black is also in it), this is def a canadian joint! The actors are almost all canadian, mostly from the GTA, and everyone knows its mostly shot in toronto. Plumtree is an insanely good Halifax band on the soundtrack, broken social scene comes from toronto, both are sick bands.
I recommend the nerds out there to look into Noise Factory records and cinnamon toast crunch records for true canadian indie. :)
