Hey Omniarch, I love that you are covering AoE content as this game is simply amazing. I also wanted to add another tidbit to the "good feature" list. On every commander you get, there is a tutorial Icon at the bottom of their commander page. It shows possible Early game & Late game commander lineups that can work well together, which position they can fit best in, and precisely explains why they work well together. Alternatively, they also have optional commanders to fill in those roles as well in case if you don't have all of the commanders in the initial lineup (includes 4-star commanders as well). I think it a nice feature that can help players get accustomed to how battles and team set ups work.
I play world of warcraft for soo many years and when Im done with all my dailies / weekly stuff I love to just go fishing. I set ambience louder and chill while fishing in game. Would be nice to get something similar inside RoK

Automatically kill barbs is good. The rest of features I don't care. Best thing to do in ROK is allow trade with others players. So people that have maxed a commander could trade his sculptures with another player who maxed other commander. Of course that will never happen.
All features in AOEM are meant to reduce the gap between f2p/ very low spenders and p2w and I like that. Those who don't believe, just wait and give it a try for the first months to convince yourself.
a auto battle barb feature for RoK would be nice and I don't think it would be game breaking since you could still choose to manually chain barbs for much more value if you desire. automation of something usually comes with the drawback of being less efficient than the most efficient tactic for players and having that here would satisfy both those objectives. a way to get value with AP if you don't have time, but also the ability for players to control if they wish to get more value
Just to be clear, Omniarch was showing an example, and he was switching already unlocked skills, specifically the 4-star ones. You gain access to better skills the more you level up, but you will need specific Items to actually unlock the 5-Star skills. Thankfully it isn't that hard to get them (Alliance or VIP Shops if i can recall), but they do cost an amount of premium currency.
I'd like to see the configurable skills feature in ROK. Technically we have it in specific KVK formats. But it could be neat to see it generically. I also wish ROK would bring over somelike that the artifact thing from COD over. [Yeah, another system of complexity like we need more]. But it would be cool to have 1 more item that doesnt add stats or stuff but rather, a user-controlled, "button tap" smaller ultimate to use. the illusation of control is fun
Most of the game works highly interesting, but the one feature that completely obliterates my attention for it is the auto battle feature. For me I find myself completely not invested in any game that has an auto battle feature. When I play I am not invested in a game that lets me play the game without me being there. The main reason why I have never botted in a game is because at that point why play something that broken
auto war with barbarian sometime stop because , there is a setting basic minimum troop , and you can setting that before start the auto , i see your josephine setting auto attack its 99 persen mininum troop , sometime u have a exact troop in your city so when you doing automatic you lose troop after back to castle , there is no other troop to fullfill the minimum troop in your party group
Just want to echo your comments about RoK vs AoEmob, RoK isn't trash, it's still a decently good game, but no-one is going to have enough time to play both properly, so players will make their choice. But there's no reason to slag off RoK, to my mind. No need to "take sides" Unlike other areas of life, I think this is a choice between two good things (well, one good thing, one tired but still worthwhile, maybe. imo) rather than two not ideal old geezers.
The graphics are 100% better than RoK and the fighting (taking a city down) siege are actually a thing lol RoK UI is better probably because I’m much more us’t to it. I’ll try it out but it’s a bit too much for me right now being in KvK and pre KvK with x4 accounts in RoK somethings got to give 🤷🏾♂️
This game actually looks great. If the combat was more like CoD and less like RoK I would probably play it. Im not a fan of this style of combat, but every game like this seems to prefer it. 🤷♂️
Great video Omni! However 😂 we have a fishing mini game in rok, and I believe the devs just added a version of the “auto battle” but it’s for pvp instead of pve
We do not have a fishing mini game, we have an event with a fishing theme that shows a fishing animation but does not involve player engagement whatsoever LOL
well there are more important things they should take care of , like for example being more in favor of free to play players and what about the other civilizations like Arabia and ottoman , why is the game so limited in cultural features
Wasting people's time is what I wanna see disappear from games... Yeah you can give us the option to sit and hunt barbs, but dont force us to use pilots just because you want us to be in the game 24/7

It's very clear AOE mobile stole the foundation of design from ROK (as COD did from ROK and many other games). Imitation is the greatest form of flattery, right? I noticed that ROK's improved dot mode looks very similar to AOE mobile. Who did the improved dot mode first?
Oh for sure, just like ROK took the foundation of design from all the mobile city builders before it (such as Game of War Fire Age). The gaming industry builds upon itself!
LOL it's very clear that RoK attempted to make itself a real-time strategy like the original Age of Empires/Age of Mythology series. Things like houses controlling the number of villagers you have is a feature directly from the Real Time Strategy games that aren't present in Mobile City Builders like RoK. It wouldn't surprise me if Call of Dragons was made because Lilith noticed the success of Age of Empires and Age of Mythology having separate and overlapping fan bases.
