Think all be getting one of theses since last week I have had swollen wrist thumb palm and hand on my right hand sharp burning pain when I press in the snuff box and back of wrist near the thumb even makes me feel sick having trouble scrubbing dishes hold stuff opening lids ice has not helped or extra strength tyonal works for anything and some very light bruising near the bottom of the thumb where it hurts to I think I may have a fractured scaphoid cause the pain or the swelling is not going down at all not like a sprain would not getting any better and two ex nurses one and army nurse for 40+ something years and an ex regastred nurse think its broken from my symptoms and the pics of my swelling and bruising worst part its my right hand I'm right handed
Am I the only ortho tech that noticed that he said that the thumb spica is indicated for navicular fractures??? Um the navicular is a tarsal bone in the foot..... i've never heard them used interchangeably nor do I think they should be. Solid video otherwise.
I retract my statement. upon further research they are both used interchangeably. I still don't think it should, but everywhere is different. where I work, navicular is always referred to a bone in the foot.
Depends how old you are. This guy's had a few birthdays and is smooth as silk. Great work. The term scaphoid and navicular were used interchangeably for years.
I had UCL ligament surgery thumb 2 weeks ago and took off cast. After that Do I need another cast for my thumb?
What is the name of that green wrap?

I just got one of these during my ligament surgery

Thank you for the video, but it's difficult to understand your speech. Could you articulate your words more clearly?
