“Why do you need so many plants?” was clearly passive aggressive and judgmental. You did a great job not taking it personally and answering it honestly. On a side note, I’m a new plant parent- having previously never kept a houseplant alive in my life- and they now make me feel calm and content. We had a stressful appointment the other day, and on the way home I walked into a plant shop just to take in the calming plant energy. ❤️

The way I sneak new plants into the house is buy 2 at a time and I show one of them to my husband. The other one assumes a position in the line up with all the others. Actually my husband is very supportive because he sees how much this hobby has improved my mental health. My plants make me feel very good. Watching your videos helps a lot too. I've learned very good tips from you.
Do you think he'd let me build a greenhouse addition onto the house???? 😁😆😁😆

I think the question about why do you need so many plants was so rude you have so many beautiful plants and all I can say is why wouldn’t you. I love watching all your episodes on your channel and I get so much inspiration from you I love your Dubai and that is definitely my next wish list plant. Keep smiling it’s infectious .

I agree i would rather buy plants than shoes or handbags like some people. If i had the space i would love more plants. Each to their own clearly the person who made the comment was jealous as they clearly watch plant videos🤷🏼‍♀️

I enjoy your channel tremendously. I too can relate with the self care and meditative affect that plants have on me. I love to walk around and touch my plants, prune and check on their leaves. It’s so encouraging my when the plants respond back with new leaves and growth. Gives me life. Thank you for sharing with us your story!

LOL, I've snuck plants into the house a number of times over the years😅 My usual method is to just sit the plant by the front door and wait until my husband goes upstairs or goes to the bathroom (🤦) and then run out and get it in real quick, stick it somewhere so it looks like it's always been there, and then later that night I'll act as if I'm doing my usual plant maintenance and I'll get it cleaned up!😁👌

I always enjoy your channel and your content. You are perfection! Love seeing your beautiful plants and reading your viewers comments. 🥰. Love these plants you repotted ! Every time I see a Spider plant it takes me back in time and I remember my Aunts and Grandmother giving away the pups/babies to everyone who came to their homes. They all gave me pups/babies and I gave my plant’s babies to just about everyone in my neighborhood. It was the first plant I ever owned. Good memories. Thank you for another great video! 👏👌🪴🥰

Yes! I told my husband just yesterday that the majority of my plants were from cuttings from our neighbour's plants! And, bless him , he believed me! Thank you for this wonderful video! PS taking your plants out to 'water them' and then slipping the new ones in with them is such an ingenious idea!

I’m new to the plant loving community, my sons plant addiction has rubbed off on me and if you can’t beat them, join them lol. I’ve been binge watching your channel and I’m really learning so much, so big thumbs up to you. And you’re so right about the mental health aspect, mine is so much improved already. Looking forward to the next video 🥰

I know exactly how you feel about having to own so many plants. I have OCD, MDD and a personality disorder and I too wish I found this a long time ago. It has helped me tremendously. They keep me busy and keep my thoughts of OCD away as well. :)

YES. I love having your videos going while doing plant chores; i just separated my whale fin sansaveria baby from the mother plant, propped my hoya obovata onto a trellis, & was dusting leaves 🪴🤗🌿
Plants are so grounding - the greenery & new growth helps support my own mental health & provides a feeling of being whole & calm. 💚

I love your videos. They are so informative. I love my plants. They bring me so much joy when I see them growing. My husband thinks I have lost my mind cause I keep buying plants. I sneak them into the house and I put them into the spare room until I can work them in with the others.

I sneak plants too! lol I got into Hoyas and can sneak them in easily by getting a two leaf cutting or rooted cutting. The problem is I get so excited I end up showing my partner a few days after….some people don’t get it but us plant people totally understand! It is also my self care and it actually motivates me to do more things to care for myself😉

Thank you for your comment about watering the day before repot. I thought for some reason they had to be dry as possible but sometimes when I have time to repot but the plant it is wetter. Glad to know this can be an advantage! Cheers!

I had a dream that my mimicry/lithops plant grew huge (the suze of my head) and kept the previous sheath rather than shedding it. (Usually they dry up after the new set of leaves grows in)

Sometimes I dream that a plant is thirsty, like it is calling out to me in the dream saying hey, please water me! It's usually correct so I like to think we have a telepathic thing going on 😛

    Hi Claire :)
Love, love, love your videos, your plants & tricks & tips etc. Joli too of course ;) Please give her a little hug from me if you don't mind :) My dream plant is an "aglaonema pictum tricolor", which I love very much, but here in Germany it is nowhere to be found. The plants I could get rid of if I had to: my golden pothos - plants, although they thrive etc., but as you said, there is no connection between us :D Plants I will never buy again: Calathea White Fusion.... she is such a diva that I can't handle :D Love & greetings vom Germany :)

Plants are good medicine! Nothing wrong with having them as long as it's not hurting in the wallet! Lol And if you look at a pipper cronatum that's what I got several weeks ago. So shiney with silver and pink. I had never seen it before! My favorite right now! Love your chats! Thank you!

On the topic of dreams, yet a little off topic 😅 back in the day when the iPod nano was THE thing, I’ve dreamt that mine had fallen into a stream and I could see it “dying” as I watched through the water 😂 so pathetic! But your story just reminded me of that haha

Great job on Dubai I bought one Leaf for 50$ a few years back from Botanicaz and it’s grown like a weed I have sold a few and have many cuttings but really want to mature it . I need that board !
Also your Fishbone Cactus 🌵 is way larger than mine I started with a tiny cutting seems to be how I started most of my HTF plants . Isn’t it cool how roots come out the bottom of the Fish bone cactus like it’s trying to find a new place , the bottom of the leaves . Plants are so fascinating to me !
But it does give me joy to know I grew them . It wouldn’t be as rewarding for me to just buy everything full grown .
I just received a very interesting Violet and put it in a terrarium. As many vids as I watch I just saw one last week Pink Smoke and it puts off babies it’s stunning! Tfs
