Fantastic haul. Amazing items. I do Love those beautiful Die cuts. This is a bit of a coincidence and I hope you don't mind me sharing because I'm originally from England and now live in the States. I use to live a few miles from Bury St. Edmunds which is a town in the county of Suffolk. I had my first baby at the hospital in that town over 30 years ago. And I still visit the town when I go to visit UK as I know people out that way. The "St" is just an abbreviation for Saint. So it's really Bury Saint Edmunds but it's not spelled in full. Saint Edmund was a patron Saint of England And so the town was named after him. There's a whole lot of history on him. He was born in 841 AD. The letters and numbers at the end of the address is the Postcode. Just like the Zip code here. Just thought I would give you a bit of info. 😁 And I kind of got excited when I saw that. I Love your haul and channel. I Have subscribed. 😊
You may already use the paper advertising around the bias tape for things in your journals. But I love to make little writing spaces in them and tuck them in a pocket.
I loved your video I just came upon it our good will usually has books foe .99 and I loved the die cuts and patterns I usually get patterns fussy cut the people for 10 cents and then use the pattern pieces for decoupage keep on thrifting
i know this is a year ago but what an amazing haul, that seam binding is amazing and a great price, in the UK it’s hard to find good vintage items as most people chuck it away, i’m a new subscriber to ur channel and hope to see more of ur hauls xx
Thanks for watching! I always seem to find the good stuff when I think I'm not going to find anything! It's getting harder to find here too, but I'm always looking!
I enjoyed watching this haul video. You bought some really great things. I live in England and we are on lockdown right now so unable to go thrifting. The victoriana dicuts were called scraps. I used to collect them with my sister when we were younger may be 60 years ago, such good memories thank you x
Hi, I just came across your channel and loved the video, when you showed the golden scrap reliefs (die cuts) I loved them so much, that I went on the search to see if mamelok press was still in business and to my surprise they are. You can buy two of the sheets for £1.50 and the have so much more as well. I'm so glad that you shared this haul with us.
I found the same beautiful 'diecuts' (in german they are called 'Glanzbilder') in a scrapshop. I had to pay over 1 dollar for one piece... although switzerland is pricy, 3 dollar for the whole bag is a lucky find! 😃
It's not always this good. This was an exceptionally good day. I'd give it all up to come live in Australia! I've been lucky enough to visit twice and LOVE it!! Thanks for watching. :)
I don't like it when Goodwill stuffs bags as well. I cheat and open bags too. 🤣Those are beautiful die cuts. If it was me I would be hoarding those. 😝 Those are some cool postcards. I never saw anything like that. Those patterns were a good price. I would have definitely picked those up. The men's pattern is a fantastic find. Love the Workbasket books. I can't believe you found that type of stuff in your Goodwill. I'm so jealous. I love, love, love the butterflies. I concede.... you are awesome. You got some fantastic stuff.
Just found your channel; you're a blessing. If you have the opportunity & of course the content, share your vintage books. Thank you for sharing your time and talents. Best
@@fabcraftsandmore Yes I am in in a lot of junk journal groups. Love them so much. You all are such wonderful people!! Is there a particular group I can check that I may not be in?
The envelopes can be used for covers. Check out @Kittywitty Papercraft channel. She uses a lot of pattern envelopes for making covers. You can use the pattern tissue paper itself for layering over other paper in your journal to create a nice see through effect on pages, pockets, tags etc.
AS far as the workbaskets go, history does repeat itself. I have every workbasket published since 1949. Now I have found a use for them. thank you
Wow! What a collection. They are so lovely I have a hard time cutting them up!
I love the stretch and sew patterns. Make a ton of kids raglan sleeves. I had a bunch of those patterns. Have no clue where they went too.
Just loved this video for many reasons; but, it was your excitement about your finds that made my day. Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words, I do get excited about fun finds!!
You scored! Congratulations!

I love the labels!!
Seeing that cookbook from 1965 took me back to my childhood. I was born1965 and my mum had a similar book 😀
Great finds!

These decoupage sheets are Victorian reproductions, and can be up to £1 (British) each here in UK. What a find!
Wow! Those diecuts are fantastic! You really scored so many great things!

Crazy ! Your lucky day.🤣
It was also one of those days where I wasn't even really looking or expecting to find anything good!! Thanks for watching!
You were one lucky girl.
Wow!!! Those are lucky finds!!!
Wow you hit the mother load with those die cuts. What is that cutting tool again?
Right?! It's a little bit of a problem. We just moved and my craft room area is about cut in half now! LOL!
Even if you did not use anything else, the cutouts are certainly worth the $2.99 that you paid for the entire package. Great shopping!
We like all the same things

We called them swaps when I was growing up here in NZ
Just wanted to clarify the print on those first die cuts. It's Bury Saint Edmunds, not Bury Street Edmunds. The Saint is written St. xxx
Thanks for the clarification!!
Thank you
I would be interested in buying those postcards from you and part of that ric rac that was interwined. Are you willing to sell maybe a small package?
I’m not selling anything right now. I may put some things together in the future in my Etsy store. Are you in some of the JJ FB groups?

That flower book coats 60 Euros on Amazon.
Those die cuts cost £1.50 for two.
Great finds!
