"Can I get 60 hours of fun out of a $60 game?" is such a common, admittedly bullshit mindset, but it is a common one. My question to you, after 1,008 hours in the game - How much money have you spent inside of it? For most games, I personally look on if I have a good time playing it. If a game is $70 and I get 20 hours of fun out of it, I feel like I win. I feel this way because EVERYTHING else in my life is expensive (Restaraunts, going to movies, hell I play Magic the Gathering and collect Pokemon cards... Can't imagine being a silly enough fan to had paid the premium price for their closed testing access that folks did. The writing was on the wall with this game from the first minute. Guess another quick $$$ maker before pulling it since there's no way it'll stick around. Of course the studio can state that it didn't get the amount of players needed to stick around when they knew that was going to be the outcome.
I rarely wish bad things for anyone - but one of the top contenders for my list is definetly Sergei Titov. That Mofo needs to loose an arm or two so we can start regaining some trust in the developer community again.
Yeah i guess having an animation that takes away your control would be better looking but what a way to die..there's no solutions for this, you either let the player keep doing his thing in case there's an enemy or take all the inputs away and like this he gets shots and pissed off and uninstall your game. Nitpick
@@MrQuicheProductions Well.. There actually are better solutions for this but the problem is that making realistic AND good looking AND working animations is hard. Really, really hard, time consuming and expensive. And making first person animations is doubly so. So much so that even AAA-studios rarely if ever does that. I know there are couple more but the only one with such first-person animations that are fully attached to the game world similarly as third-person animations often are, is Mirror's Edge. Of course, that game didn't have a calm and controlled slow animation for opening the doors, which is a must for this type of game, but the way it is otherwise animated is exactly what I'm talking about; way beyond the capabilities of smaller studios.

Hot take: This is also a problem with the UE store in general. It's too easy now to get RDR2 level graphics on your game for minimal effort, on top of the fact its even more easier to put together a simple PVP shooter, or even a PVE shooter. Delusional developers look at the store and UE5 and think they can make the next big battlefield, tarkov with just maybe 500$ in store assets and 6-12 months of throwing their game together. And the fact they don't have the best skills in the business means they unfortunately fail to utilize store assets in meaningful unique ways to separate themselves from the rest. Hence... It doesn't matter if it would be most funded game with 20 years in development, if i see his name, the game is dead to me on arrival.
Great work as always BigFry
thanks for covering this. you literally save my money.
I have watched you for a long time and seeing you and scammer grow kinda amazing, the game looks decent and might be good with enough update but then again history will probably repeat itself. I wish a game like this are free, I would rather lose my time than lost my money lol
Well they missed labelling it as an FPS or extraction shooter on steam so who the hell is going to find it when searching? It literally says GENRE: Action, Indie, Massively Multiplayer, RPG, Simulation, Early Access...... like how is it MMO or RPG right now? Literally missing what I would assume is the target audience.
Sadly back in the day I fell for one of those previous titles listed. Survivor stories specifically
The L33t Before...
i been playing world war 3 again, and it sucks that nobody platys it, because i love the gunplay
Con artist get greedy and Steam should enforce rules for the money grabs by any of these devs to meet a deadline with a list showing on store page to finish a game in what certain period of time at a small price limit for betas or everyone gets refunded.
Extraction Started Desc
1 month after this video posted Project L33t is now only 3 players playing the game peak at 18 Players.... i guess the game will be abandoned soon enough.
Didn't even know it launch maybe these companies should advertise
I think nowadays people have a lot of mixed opinions about live service games.
hey guys we gonna do shooter game and we gonna make it look as generic as possible, what could possibly go wrong?
There's more people watching the video than people who played the game at launch LMFAO
bigfry can you do some coverage on marauders... the game is such a hidden gem, and its done a ton of updates... seems like its totally forgotten :/
I am excited for GZW to be progressing in the way that it is. I am sure I will still not be able to enjoy the game on my garbage rig but that is life. Hopefully "optimization" will come soon but I am sure that will not apply for my Lenovo Laptop. I really enjoy playing the game, up until I get in to an engagement and then the game goes down to 3 FPS and I am dead. I am looking forward to seeing what they are gonna bring in.
the first clip of gameplay already looks better then deadmatter...
Damn Gajin musta shilled out a lot for that ad 😂
$15 on steam and it would actually do SOMeThing
Can't imagine being a silly enough fan to had paid the premium price for their closed testing access that folks did. The writing was on the wall with this game from the first minute. Guess another quick $$$ maker before pulling it since there's no way it'll stick around. Of course the studio can state that it didn't get the amount of players needed to stick around when they knew that was going to be the outcome.
Bro, I just want FPS to be set anywhere but Russia now.
i miss when companies made the games they wanted. the internet has them thinking we want survival trash collector sims...
Music was a bit loud on this video.
To be fair, the UI/UX is great.
If the name sounds like a 15 year old's cringe project... expect exactly that
Sergei Titov? Oh Dayum, WarZ man back at it again?
They have 23 people playing right now LOL
the music is freaking annoying
I had no idea it even launched lmao
I rarely wish bad things for anyone - but one of the top contenders for my list is definetly Sergei Titov. That Mofo needs to loose an arm or two so we can start regaining some trust in the developer community again.
LOL after 4 seconds I already saw enough. That opening door animation with his hand like a foot from the door.
I don't want to defend this game, but this is literally the most common type of animation of opening doors in games bro?
Ehhhh, that feels a bit nitpicky haha
what did you expect? that's how it works in most games lol
It's definitely not Leet.
why the fuck would i spend 40$ on project L33t when i can buy tarkov for 40$? LOOOOL
It's $30 not $40 not that that's any better or anything
bigfry slams dog crap like this, but was hyping up disasters like ground branch and ready or not 1.0, pure irony with this guy. 😂
Ready or Not 1.0 was great, the fuck kind of revisionist history is that lol
Ground Branch was dope before the price hike when it was cheaper. Do you see me talk about it anymore?
Fuck outta here
@@BigfryTV 1.0 was not great, no one has ever said that, the AI was at its lowest point and everyone knows it, thats when the community became pessimistic, seperate milestones from quality.
@@BigfryTV lmao it is objectively and widely agreed upon that it was bad and it even dropped the reviews to mostly positive, that literally says alot
@@BigfryTV yo bigfry i love your content, but the AI were literally aimbotting people until they finally reworked it
@@BigfryTV 1.0 was a disaster, what universe have you been living in?
Bigfry, if we are talking about extration shooters, would you have time to look at Beautiful Light? I've seen the trailer and gameplay and I think it's another good project that could compete with the other games you mentioned in the video.
Where has that gone? it suddenly dropped off into near silence
Dear God here we go again boys
Calling a game a scam and being sponsored by war thunder is wild
At least war thunder doesn’t charge $30 up front to play. It ain’t great and it’s got a lot of monetization, but for a free game you could certainly do a lot worse- (cough, cough, Mobile Strike, cough cough.). Plus sponsorships pays the bills.
@@GG-cg1dx dude i was addicted to WT, and i can tell you of all people that all of the meta shit is behind a paywall. Thats scam status to me. As much as i dont like games like Fortnite they have a much less scummy business model selling cosmetics that offer zero advantage over other stuff.
they really chose that, when they could've chosen, another freeze character thats a female and is popular. like killer frost..
this game doesnt look bad, but theres a billion extraction shooters at this point, and you gotta stand out in the pack and not be so basssiiicccc
dont care about hardcore survivor bs, i need another DMZ arcady type extractor
Well at least it’s better than Concord.
Great video!
Ps. You gonna do a video on fallout london??
Saw this coming, played the test & the moment I saw the price 👀
I don't always agree with you. I always respect your opinion. Spot on on this one though man...
I couldn't even play the game. I kept getting kicked because I cheated by launching the game.
Wow I was hoping to play this game
I was waiting for you to drop this. 🤣
So this seems very similar to Incursion Red River on steam like susy similar
project L33T or more like project Y33T warthunder is an insane grind for any one thinking of checking it out
Hot take:
This is also a problem with the UE store in general. Hence... Asset store flip, and to me Project L33T looks like its ripped everything from store bought assets. Even the inventory system.
It's also the fact these clowns failed to even advertise the game. Other then Bigfry's coverage. I never seen anyone else talk about it.
P.S. It also feels like this game was thrown together to just capitalize on Gray zone releasing and EFT releasing new stuff.... and even now Gray Zone is almost a dead game barely hovering around 2k players.... coming from 70,000 >.>...
A game with the name L33T rings warning bells, rings kids trying to code, thats my take.
