1. Cutting map: I try what Viryaku saying. What happens is: Enemy laners rotate even though they don't have prio. Enemy jungler gets 2 kills in the bottom. I use flash to escape. Bot lane complaining about jungle diff but they actually were pushing tower without warding.
If laners are pushing up and ignoring you, your two options is to bait a countergank (in a lane bush) or just be anywhere else on the map ready to counter an objective or jungle when they inevitably die.
The fundamentals of jungle are fairly similar in an of itself but has nevertheless changed because the fundamentals of lanes are a bit different. Because all damage is completely insane this season, even the slightest of lead will likely result in an unstoppable snowball. So farming jungle is not a good strategy right now because if one of your lanes messes up before you can gank, it's going to be next to impossible to fix that lane as the enemy could likely 1v2 you now. So I'm not at all surprised to see a 4 CS per minute in Challenger. Would have been extremely surprised to see a jungler win with that in Season 13 though, but now it is possible.
I went from gold last season to emerald this season by spamming yi and some teemo jg. I think the only things I'm doing diff are... prio my own jg camps (full clears, almost always farmin), often ignore teams pings cause they are usually dumb (better to get guaranteed xp n gold from camps), only gank if I know 100% i got it even if teammate basically does nothing, realizing that doing nothing is often the best play, also often building fairly tanky yi, stopped taking risks (counter jg when I not totally sure bout vision / locations etc). Oo and if a teammate flames me I let them know they sound malnourished, mute them and call them a vegan.
Afaik, the concept lies in profiting what you can see them doing to farm their jungle. For instance, you are top. You see them ganking bot. There is no objective up, the top lane is not gankable, and you are too far to help in the bot. Then, what do you do? You go inside their topside jungle and farm their stuff.
@@Wakrar I understood that part, but keeping track of what pathing the enemy jungler takes such as top to bot half clears exc. then capitalizing on there positioning.
@@prolific5627 oh, for sure, it's a lot to keep track. I'm not an awesome jungler, but I would say that the first thing, that will always help in the first iterations of the jungle, is to keep track of where they started, Red side or Blue Side. Do that by either warding before the game starts or by looking if it was the top or the bot that arrived late to lane/missing life (because they were leashing). That will give you the direction they are doing, because when their jungle starts respawning, the camps they farmed first will respawn first, and their only choice will be to farm those. I would say that this will approximately give away their clear order for the first 10 minutes or so. Later, at least for me, it becomes more random
@@prolific5627 also, keep hitting tab to see how many camps they cleared. It only updates when they show up, but assuming they are clearing everything and not farming minions, you can take the CS, divide it by 4, and it should give you the number of camps. So, early on, 24 farm means they did 6 camps, for instance. If they do a full clear and take the scuttle, they will end up with 28. If they took the scuttle and have 24, then they skipped a camp (probably the golems, but could be the gromp as well)
When you are looking at lanes, dont only see if its gankable for you, if your teammate looks gankable try to hover around if you think enemy jg is in the area Edit: I thought you said counter ganking
I am good at jg tracking but the issue is im still doin 3:15 clears in gold elo and there doin 3:30 clears, and after a bit we idk where they are because there too slow lol so i started gankin more so they can catch up to me
Honestly playing jungle just tests my patience. You get blamed for everything and then flamed if you secure a kill. I always thought of League as a team game, yet most players in ranked care more about becoming the carry and winning lane. Less about he role they should play in the team and plan of attack. Playing the game is such an awkward experience when the enemy team clearly shows coordinated plays and cooperation. Yet your own team just seems to have their head in the ground and giant egos. And if any objectives go wrong, you get flamed for it.
great video as always i have been thinking of maybe subscribing to the program since im hardstuck iron and started jungling in s12 but will it work for a shaco otp? :)
Came here to say this. Laners do not react to pings whatsoever. I had an Akali mid vs a Yasuo and I was playing as Ekko jungle. I started blue into Gromp, then wolves to raptors. When I finished my raptors i noticed the Yasuo was half hp and pushed up while my Akali was nearly full hp. I pinged that I was on my way and the Yasuo pathed towards the bush I was in. I threw out my W hit him with my e, q, w stun and realized that my Akali was still standing under tower farming minions. Because I don’t win early game like that as an Ekko without help I was forced to disengage and burn my flash because my laner somehow didn’t see my pings or the fact that I was fighting his laner right next to him. I literally have to play jungle like I don’t have teammates, if I trust my teammates to rotate for kills or objectives once I end up dying every time.
Well is very hard to trade for dragon in low elo, enemy bot lane show up, your bot lane is bad and is base or not interested you need to back off, is more often when you are not contested in void
Same steps as always. 1. Ignore the moaning and btching of the ADC. 2. Get objectives and always buy wards since your support won't bother warding dragon or anything at all. 3. Try to kill the easier champs and invalidate them from the game. 4. If no one is doing anything and the enemy team knows you are the only threat and decide to ignore you to kill everyone else and get objectives. Turn yourself in a split-pusher. 5. If everything else fails, report everyone at the end of the game, even the enemy, and checkmark everything in the report. In the blanks put: My team mates are trash, just ban them mfs. Works for me, almost diamond now.
Can agree on the No ward support part. Could probably buy another Legendary item each game if no wards but hey, its worth it if i can secure dragon soul 3/4 games.
"In most elos, if you ping your laners will follow". I've literally never experienced this. Where are these mythical teammates that follow pings. I'm in emerald and my games are highlighted by me punching all the objectives absolutely alone until i'm collapsed on because their lanes abadoned prio to kill me and my alners really just wanted to cs under enemy tower.
In season 14, Is it a bad idea with khazix to invade at lvl 3 and try to kill the other junglee at his next buff camp? Wondering how much they really want junglers farming vs invading one another
guess it depends on the matchup for example ive been playing rengard since s10 and there are a few junglers every now and then that are just too strong to invade despite rengars strong early game. Champs like trundle, lee sin I can't invade right now, they tend to just win that 1v1. Khazix probably wouldnt fair too well early considering he gets his power out of his evolutions. But im not too much a khazix player.
While I agree with everything, making the assumption that you could go for the win instead of the safer confirm is just that: an assumption. You have no way of playing that game back out going for a faster end. It could have ended bad. Not saying either strategy is better, just that its hard to judge. I'd say compare games you lost while ahead at a certain point. Was it more often you were ahead later or earlier?
What should i do, if i snowball early game in 90%, but im totally lost at mid game, idk what to do, if my team fights non-stop, with or without R's (gold elo)?
I'm maining her right now. She's strong, but don't get baited by stormsurge first, lich bane first has a much higher win rate, and after that you can go into stormsurge or death cap, depending on what you can afford. She is strong, but there are some that destroy you like khazix or hecarim.
