Something I love about what you've done here is evolving the track in a way instrumentally. The start of the track pays homage to a simple minimalistic NES chiptune that turns into a more grand final boss-like song. You've evolved this by turning that intro into a more classical dramatic intro utilizing a harpsichord and other natural instruments, which then becomes the powerful symphonic metal to really get across the full sense of oomph in the track, cascading between the classical and modern themes in a dramatic manner. This to me is one of your best works purely from a design philosophy perspective. Thank you very much for sharing your art with the world.

I'd say all 4 of those songs are around the same caliber and it mostly comes down to personal preference as for which one is best. For a lot of people it's Megalovania but it's not like people say it clears the whole OST. It's just the best to them in a sea of bangers.
aside from it being a very commonly meme'd song, megalovania is also one of Toby Fox's "recycled" songs/melodies. It appeared in Homestuck as well, long before Undertale... and Homestuck is EXTREMELY INFAMOUS on the internet, at least from the late 2000's to early 2010's.
I've listened to probably 20+ covers of this song, and this one completely blows them all away. Basically every cover I've listened to either misses the articulation of the melody or misses the dynamic energy of the original. You've managed to capture both of these elements and inject a ton of originality into it. Masterful work, this is my favorite arrangement of yours yet!
Yes!!! I love Evelyn Lark's covers for exactly the same reason! They just _get_ the original songs in a way that's really special. Whenever a cover comes out of a song that's close to my heart, I know it will scratch exactly that itch. I don't know how they do it.
Asgore honestly feels exactly on par with all of the "final bosses" of this game, he really deserves to be considered one too, not just a penultimate. His mood is just so heavy, and his theme so final..
Asgore has always been one of the best fights in undertale with one of the best themes. A battle against the king of all monsters who doesn’t want to kill you, but has to in order to free his people. Everything about it just feels so grand yet tragic

It's kinda outstanding, you've been a breath of fresh air when it comes to remixes. I always feel odd when a remix fails to capture the vibe of the original and you've hardly ever missed. This arrangement kicks ass :)

You finally gave this song the rearrangement justice it deserves; You have NO idea how many years I've been waiting for someone to do a rendition that incorporated orchestra, rock and chiptune like the original does, but every single time people either stuck to one or the other which, to be fair, gave birth to amazing remixes on their own rights! But they weren't comparable enough to the original for me. This right here, chief? This is EVERYTHING I've wanted a more off of a reimagining of the song. Fantastic job!
Asgore's theme was always really special to me. The emotion carried into this theme was always extremely fascinating to me, and you elevated that energy in your remix! Really good stuff!
This is such a criminally underrated boss theme. It's the perfect blend of two things that are both perfect for Asgore. It's hopeful, like the theme of a powerful, conquering hero. But also tragic, as if this hero has committed a grievous sin...

this is one of a very few remakes of the song that still feels like the original but with a personal twist on it. it's way to common for people to not quite hit the mark. the biggest offender being that most people don't modulate the intensity between the various phrases, which is a big part of what makes the piece so impactful. the medium intensity first four measures of ASGORE convey the feeling of sorrowful duty so well, and then it just hits with four measures of regal majestic badassness that you capture so incredibly well. i feel like your version of burgentruckung feels more like it's building upon the heroic struggle theme where the original always felt more like a reluctant sorrow theme. i think you do your approach well, but i feel that takes a bit away from the piece. other than that though, this is possibly the best arrangement i have encountered and i thank you for gracing us with it's presence.

A lot of people are already saying this in the comments but I've listened to a lot of covers of this song trying to find one that sounds a bit more modern not that the bit version is bad but I was looking for something a bit more modern and yours does just that it hits all of the feelings and emotions that the song is trying to convey. This is such a brilliant cover the only and this is only like 5% the only thing I would slightly change is the fact that the lines I don't really know what they're called I'm not a music expert but there's a big distinction between like maybe the verse and the chorus part of the song if that makes at all sense it doesn't hurt it at all because the chorus part again if I can say that is just so strong and powerful it makes up for it but this is very well done immediate add to the favorites list
