    One of the FEW excellent lecturers here in UA-cam. I already graduated but continue to listen in your lectures to keep my knowledge intact. Every time I spent listening to you is all worth it. Thank you so much. Also, I noticed that you don't put ads on your videos.

    I know someone who has PKU, they have no low IQ!! If they are treatet they grow and learn and live like normal people! This is so important to say! The PKU can be treatet by a low protein diet in combination with an amino acid mixture, which contains no phenylalnine. So the patients will get all the amino acids they can't eat in their diet. But then they are gonna be fine! I wish you can ad this to your video. (Btw: My PKU friend has an IQ of 132 - testet officially by a Psychologist, because she was treated with the diet and the amino-acid-mixture since birth)

    So if I was diagnosed at birth and the first 3 weeks of my life i was given a specific diet before anything else was given to me then I’m ok? I didn’t find any of this out till almost 56 yrs later and I’ve not been living on a pku diet. I’m confused….

    my baby brother has pku he's 11months old and turn 1 years old next month on July. Me and my parents would actually want to make him a cake for his first birthday. does anybody know of a pku friendly recipe?

    • @nomnomfrog
      @nomnomfrog 7 років тому

      I'd just do a quick Google search for low phe cake recipes. 3 of my siblings have PKU and really like the products from CamBrookes (if there's time to order from them) if all else, CoolWhip and rice krispy treats were always a favorite as children.

    Why do not you screenshot the lecture slides and sell on the Internet as a book? It would be very useful for the AKlearners :)
    Your lecture notes are written in your website, I know. But they are not as useful as your blackboard notes because they do not have shapes, figures etc. :(
