FDA is pushing ranchers to treat their livestock with mRNA vaccines. This company has no control over this. Going direct to your own local rancher/farmer is best.
Al, looks like you used J- trim on top of your trim board above the sliding doors. Don't you think it should have been a Z- trim. The J-trim will hold moisture and not really protect the top of your trim board, especially a wind driven rain or snow.
Good morning! Clever way to get rid of ice. This barn is going to be epic!! Gina, your silence about redoing the front of the workshop is golden😂 Your banter has such a good rhythm. I throughly enjoy you both, thanks!
On your access doors that are twisted, you can straighten them by placing a wire and turnbuckle on the inside of the door, attach the wire to the top corner that is bent out and another wire to the bottom hinge side, and connect the turnbuckle between the wires and tighten until the door is straight.
❤love ,love the barn ,your right once the board is painted black and doors are on ,it's gonna be beautiful!!! Your attention to details is amazing...have a great day Al and Gina..
Suggestion, instead of painting the header boards, use your black roll stock - Lumnah theme - “minimize maintenance”. Still have a flat surface for the track.
I think you should use your break and make a front wrap in black for your track mounting area so it won't need to be painted and will be weather proof once you can caulk the top and bottom edges. You can use roof screws with rubber washers to hold it in place along with some liquid nails.
I hope you will be addressing the metal you hung inside the barn where you said the animals would be going. There were several of us with large animal experience who warned you about the dangers it posed. Of course, the final decision is yours.
Good morning Al and Gina. Your work ethic and your determination is phenomenal. I enjoy watching this barn build and can't wait to see all the animals in one big barn. That will save you so much time tending to your livestock before they go out on pasture. You can feed everyone, milk Azelia and collect the eggs, etc and maintain the deep bedding system all in one big barn. Exciting times building your OGP in the woods. 👏😊
The barn is looking amazing! You two rock rock rock!!!!!! I really enjoy your photography Gina…Nice. And I really love the new music. Very soothing. I get tense watching you saw. I kinda worry about those sparks. Much better choice than the loud electrical music. I love the acoustic. Cant wait to see more. Gina, you asked how to stay warm without layers. Use the new heated jackets. Cold is cold. You’ll need helps with heat. Thanks for everything you do. We love watching you.
Good morning. I always watch your videos...keep em coming. Not sure if you have tried this or not. In the past I have cut metal siding with a skill saw with the blade turned backwards. Just a normal blade (old one will work), but not carbide tipped (don't want the the tips coming off and flying). Did a complete barn this way with no issues.
Looking really good guys. Great idea using 1 by to separate top/bottom & will look spectacular when 'Gina' paints it black. Shed roof for front of barn added at a future date would be a very useful & practical addition, IMO.
Barn looks amazing Al, but you may consider wearing full safety goggles when grinding metal. I spent many years in a metal fab shop and had more than my share of metal specks in my eyes from wearing only safety glasses
Hey Al. What you and Gina have completed is amazing. As a builder for 49 years, I'm impressed at what you two have accomplished. Question: I may have missed in a video? How come no windows or transparent plastic panels for light? Natural light is free. 😀😀😀
The pet animals cannot get sun or moon struck so there are no light panels. There are plenty of solar panels to run lights day and night so the animals don't get scared.
This barn is getting so close to be fully enclosed. I know y'all will be happy with that. See you tomorrow with Ben & Jason, they have had a busy week as well. Have a Blessed day.
The barn looks great with all the siding on it. Buttoning it up against the weather will be a big help heading into the heart of winter. Great timing and a lot of hard work!
You should have the guard on your grinder. I have had those cut off blade break and pieces fly. I love the way you build stuff. You are a protectionist in your work. Love it
I give you credit, I would not be able to look at the difference in the panels color and texture. That would drive me nuts, I would always see that as a mistake that I was too cheap and lazy to order the right stuff.
Great job. My concern is the smooth floor. When grandad built a Barn he leavened the floor by moving a 2x4 back and forth leaving little groves and ridges. He said it was easier for the cattle not to slip. I noticed all the barns were done this way. They still cleaned well. Hope your floor works for you.
Your thunder comment is mostly correct. The thunder effect in movies was created using a large sheet of metal that was shaken or hit. There is a great Disney documentary that shows the process of making a cartoon from start to finish.
Good afternoon Lumnah family from a cold Pacific NW. Good afternoon viewers. Yay, finishing the door flashing before hanging the sliding door tracks. I slipped and fell on my head on a patch of ice in the sun. Been there done that. Split my skin open in the back of my head. I had to get 15 stiches. I'm glad you melted the ice first! To see Arlo jump up in the window was cute during your Good Chops commercial Al! I think you can do a "diversion" on the ends off your upper J-track to spout the water out the ends. We have that off of a breezeway roof in between our house and the garage into the gutter on that roof. Looking good! Make him get you scaffolding if he's going to make you paint it all black Gina! Much better using a ladder to get up on scaffolding. I'm sure he'll use it again too. We got 6 units of masonry scaffolding with 6 leveler feet to paint our two story house and garage. It was well worth the money! We'll be using it to paint our barn too. We just use 2x12s to cover the top tier with. Plenty strong enough for us to stand on. When I'm outside for hours I use "chilli's" thermal pants, jeans, snowpants, wool socks, and winter insulated boots and a sweatshirt and good parka jacket up top like you have Gina. A good pair of gloves too! I'm glad you got to use the nibbler. I'm so glad the TYM has both doors now! I'm glad you lined up the ribs. Beautiful sky with bright sun Gina. We had snow here in the Pacific NW and a low of 18°F tonight. Wow, you two finished the siding (except for the corners)! It's nice you could use some of your extra materials from the other buildings. It looks great! Thanks for this video Lumnah family!
Good morning Lumnahs! You make me feel cold and it 33 here this morning. You are troopers working in those temps, but the results are fantastic. I recall you finishing the old shop in this kind of weather!!!

Gooood morning everyone, from David in Omaha, NE. I can hardly wait to see the outside siding completed on the barn build. It's going to be awesome, just like the workshop! Will they be able to harvest your trees this year, Al? Probably not cold enough. Have a blessed and positive day today everyone! Cheers!
I've always loved the color theme y'all have with the blacks, reds, and grays. It feels like a comic book supervillian went and retired to a small farm in NH (and I mean that as a complement!)
Good Morning everyone!! Western North Carolina checking in this morning. Al, I hate seeing you struggle with those metal cutters. Once I used a nibbler I never looked back! Have a great day.
Good morning Al and Gina, So impressed with how this is coming together. Winter weather has been kind this year. I actually had a thought about the roto tiller and garden yesterday. @@SamValentine-yu5lz Hi Sam! Its good to be back, almost. It has been a rough week here being sick. Not the any of the big bugs going around, but some form of food poisoning, possibly ecoli. But finally turning the corner yesterday.
Al don't use your batteries as a hammer. It's not good idea. Lithium batteries don't like impacts and can react in very nasty way - fire or even blast. And believe me, you don't want to experience either ;-)
I think the break you added to the metal siding on the sides of the barn build looks good.want be too much longer now and you will have the animals in.

Hi guys love watching your channel, love the buildings wished I had a big shop. Just wondering why no aluminum flashing covering wood over barn doors so Gina wouldn't have to paint it
generally the hardware goes over the the flashing then a drip guard made up and attached to cover the track hardware, but that is only my opinion, I think your doing a fantastic job love watching your journey@@damogranheart5521

What’s gonna break it all up is the weather don’t understand why you would put exposed wood on a steel barn. I would at least wrapped it with your black, smooth aluminum. That way you won’t have to worry about painting it, or the weather destroying it.😊
