Lesson learned, don’t drink with trash, and especially don’t step on trash, ESPECIALLY if you’ve drank together with trash. What an unconventional Qud moment. Trolls loved that, btw. In my head canon, it’s this junk dollar who did the betrayal, you just have to pay for it. It was a pariah for a reason lol
Thank you for putting in the shopping time stamps, and I hope you continue to do so in future episodes. Early game isn't so bad, but when half the episode length is going through a dozen Tili inventories, I tend to skip it every time. Oh, and I know some people enjoy seeing 30 minutes of inventory management, so by no means am I saying you should cut it from the videos, but time stamps for people like me who enjoy the questing and exploration more is much appreciated.
When you were young and your heart was an open book, you used to say live and let's drink. But if this ever changing world in which we live in, makes you give in and cry, say drink and let die.
Shrodinger pages to random villages aren't too bad because they also give you the location of the village. Village quests often give pretty decent rewards. Injectors, small spheres of negative weight, hoversleds and the like. Having more servings of starch and lignin as safety is nice, but you can keep Basking effects indefinitely underground if you just eat decent food (like jerky) often enough to stay sated. I like to get Snake Oiler from the oddly-hued glowpad.
Yeah true, I tend not to do them as they’re really boring but I think I’ll do a couple for the sake of new players! You can also get fasting way to help with satiety! I like to get snake oiler from Asphodel but I’m feeling a chaos spiel run!
As long as you make Qud videos I'll watch em. Started by watching your tutorials and have been steadily making my way through all your play throughs. Amazing stuff! Big thanks
If you're flush with water or valuables, each one of the guards at the Six Day Stilt seems to sell Carbide or Folded Carbide weapons. I only discovered this recently after failing to roll any weapon shops lol.
"If you see these guys... run" Yup, my very first character came to her end at the hands of dawngliders in the desert while lost at level 15 where they killed me easily.
Can you build stairs up in qud? i keep finding vent shafts going further down in my historic sites and im too scared to jump down without a way back up, i feel im missing something
Personally I'm loving Quills and I think it fits me better than Gas, as it annihilates everything around in a much more controlled way, opinions on it?
Perhaps there was an enemy nearby? When my character senses an enemy near, he stops auto picking up and auto gathering etc. Depends on settings, of course. Or perhaps a bug

I’ve never experienced this in 1000 hours!

No problem at all, I’m definitely going to start putting shopping time stamps in (assuming I remember)

What does it matter to ya, when you got a job to do you got to do it well, you gotta give the other fella helllll

That was unlucky, the Dollars explode if you step on them.

Thank you so much! Appreciate it :)
@@Rogue_Rat I probly would have given up on ever making any progress int his game without you're tips for beginners 😅

I recognize that achievement icon. Oh noes. Compelled to watch.
lol I just finished part one about an hour ago. Great timing on this upload!
Your tips are really helpful for new players like me! Thanks.
very informative watch, thanks for making these
Glad you enjoyed it!
Actually super helpful going through this standard run mate, many thanks.
You're very welcome mate :)
How very unfortunate and ironic that the guy teaches you how to rifle through trash and in doing so it made you path over him...
Is he shtewpid or summink?!
Stepped on a pariah, became a pariah.
Omg, the junk dollar teaching you trash divining only for you to divine through it is story writing only Qud can provide
Yeah I can't believe in all my hours in Qud I never knew that trash divining kills junk dollars?!
@@Rogue_Rat I think it was just you stepping on it, not Trash Divining specifically!

You can’t build up, you have to find stairways back up. It’s a pretty fun little side quest!
That title...he's gonna buy Quills...?

What's could possibly go wrong😅
The first three minutes is just that clip of a guy saying "foreshadowing is a narrative device" smh smh
I genuinely have no idea why the game refuses to auto-pickup 50' lengths of wire when it autopickups every other length.
Perhaps there was an enemy nearby? When my character senses an enemy near, he stops auto picking up and auto gathering etc. Depends on settings, of course. Or perhaps a bug
The 50' coils weigh 1 dram so autopickup ignores it. The smaller wires weigh 0 drams so they get plucked up.
@UristMcPerson you da real mvp
@@ilikemitchhedberglive and drink.
You broke the water ritual? I´m not watching that shite. Dislike. Unsubbed.
Deleting my channel as we speak. Fake gamer.
Keep making these type of videos? Yes!
