I saved over $100.00 using this video to install my ice maker myself. Plumbers ask $85.00 to just come out plus the cost to install an ice maker. If you can read anyone can follow these direction & do this install their self. I may be a woman but Im not stupid! Works great & I have money for other things I need. Thank You Repair Clinic
You guys are a godsend. The instructions that come with the ice maker are fine.. until they aren't. The two especially tricky parts are the leveling arm and half of the pump installation. Very much appreciated.
I had no problem installing this ice maker. I watched this video through twice, and was able to confidently install the ice maker. It took about 20 minutes after the delivery guys brought the fridge and ice maker. This video was spot on for my fridge and ice maker. I am happy to say that fridge and ice maker are working very well!! Thanks!
Great video, followed instructions and installed with little effort. Ice maker made 2 cycles of ice through the night in the 1st 12 hours, but nothing in the next 12 hours. I belive the ice tray has ice ready to dump but not going through the dump cycle. Any suggestions???
This is a great video. It saved me lots of time and trying to read the super fine print of the manual. It says it takes about 24 hours to start making ice if I read correctly. When should it fill the tray? It didn't do anything when I plugged it in and turned the water on. Does it take a while to signal itself to fill up? The signal arm is down (in the on position). The wires to the valve match the video yellow on the left). The connector inside the freezer seems secure. Any tips or am I just impatient?
I had the same problem. Installed last night. I gave up and went to watch TV for an hour or so. Then I heard water pump sound, and saw the water movement on the plastic tube. It took a good few hours before I heard the first drop of ice. I yelled "GOAL!!!!" at that moment. I think it was waiting for a certain temperature before it will do it. Opened and closed the freezer door too much will lose the coldness.
@@ericfang9156 Thanks, Eric! I found at the next day that my unit was actually defective. Once it started filling up, it would refill with water every five minutes or so before the ice ever hardened. It flooded the the ice bin which froze solid. It would keep filling whether the arm was up or down. Fortunately I was awake and cut it off. I removed it all and exchanged it for a new one and it works like a champ.
We have ours installed correctly but there is about 4 inches of water line right before the pump that have air in it and the water will not pass this to go down to the pump.. we used a saddle valve and turned on/off position also turned water off and on many times nothing! Help
The connector shown in video has 4 terminals however my freezer has only 3 terminals.. How do I connect four on the plug to three on the receptacle. Just purchased the fridge
Been two days, not producing ice. This video does not say which way to connect the capacitor to the power on the back of the fridge. Also doesn’t say which screws and holes to use to secure the capacitor to the back of the fridge. I’m still not producing ice so I just pulled everything out and swapped the direction of the electrical connection. Fingers crossed. Otherwise, this could be a good video.
It has a wired connecter ours was kind of deep back in there held with a zip tie on the black fins/coils once you have the cardboard backing off. It's a green and yellow wire. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the video! Sequence was logical (not like the directions). Happy to report ice this morning!
Thank you!! I couldn't figure out how to remove the panel and reverse engineered using your video! Seems to be the only video using my exact model!
Thanks for the video. It was very professional and right to it.
You're welcome!

My ice maker only makes maybe two our three hollowish cubes of ice every cycle. Any ideas how to remedy?
thanks
Whoever installed the ice maker in my house left a lot of extra parts laying around.

Why Frigidaire don’t install their crap? As a compliment, we installers, hated to do their work.
Thank you, straight forward and easy to
