I'm normally the kind of person that loves to feel like they've gotten a strong, sweaty workout done but this half meditation/half workout was so, so nice -- it was like a workout for my brain and breath, and my body was just going along for the ride. I feel so refreshed, thank you for this practice!!

Back to the basic with really helpful tips to get back to the appropriate foundation for each pose. Still managed an upbeat in the heart rate but was really able to stay in check with my breath.
Koya , I love your classes! Your directions are perfect and your voice is so nice and strong at the same time! I’m so proud of myself because I did all the advanced poses, I never thought of myself as an advanced yogi. It is great the way you slip the poses into different levels, so it fits everyone. Thanks so much for that!

Koya I LOVED this class! The focus on mindfulness and breathing was awesome. While doing the practice my dogs distracted me, walking around, asking attention and I smiled because that’s how it works in real life. During the day all kind of distractions can make you wonder off but my breath keeps me in the moment, so thank you for this great workout🙏🏻😚

Koya, I love your direction and the cues/modifications you provide throughout the practice. It helps me to better understand the meaning behind the movement, which assists me with my intention. Thank you for the different variations for the poses (beginner to advanced). And I especially appreciated the breathing techniques, because it really is so important! My favorite was the twisting..I'm still a little "under the weather" but with the added twist felt very detoxing for me! It's like I could feel it really working. Very much enjoyed today :) BIG thanks to you all for putting these together for us all!

Sun salutations come more naturally to me. Working out of Surya Namaskar into spinal twists is really energizing and throws me straight into a sweaty mess. Also, coming into triangle pose I was conscious of stacking my shoulders, and I really used my core to just hover my bottom hand off the ground which was a very progressive moment for me. Linking the breathe to your core and to your drishti is really challenging... I am really drawn to Ashtanga Vinyasa right now!
Thank you Koya for this practice and Alo Yoga for this amazing series! I’ve been feeling discomfort on my knees when the poses need the toes tucked in, is it safe to try it with toes untucked? Grateful for any advice!
Loved the class, I think this would have been better earlier on in the 30 days for those newer to yoga, since breath to movement is a core concept but also a good intro to basic sun salutations
ok this was good! I still have trouble matching my breath to the movements, I think my breath is faster 😅 I love the twists and folds bc I have a slight stomachache rn 😛
Is there a modification for the neck when in camel pose? I find that my back loves the pose, but my neck hurts. When I let my head go all the way back, it sends a pain down into my shoulder blade. Aside from that, I loved this class. Thank-you once again for a great start to the day!

Am I the only one who thought this was way too fast especially at the start? It's hard to be mindful when we're whipping through poses that quick.
