Keith ist ein ganz besonderer Mensch. Nach außen der harte Rockstar, im Inneren scheu und zurückhaltend. In jedem Interview antwortet er mit ruhiger Stimme, wird nicht böse, wenn er immer wieder auf seine Drogensucht angesprochen wird. Ich freue mich sehr für ihn, das er die richtige Frau gefunden hat. Patti hat ihn wieder in die richtige Richtung gesteuert. Wenn er sich nicht von Anita Pallenberg getrennt hätte, wäre das wohl sein Untergang gewesen. So ein Leben muss man erst mal aushalten, manchmal kann ich es verstehen, wenn Stars zu Drogen greifen, um den ganzen Rummel und Bekanntheitsgrad erträglicher zu machen. Ich liebe Keith schon ewig, weil er für mich ein Held ist.

You can tell Keith is stressed talking about his drug use, a combination between reminiscing and the sting of being judged for it. I was a cocaine user for a while and I haven't touched the stuff in a few years. When it comes up in conversation I look back with a certain fondness and almost want to get into it again, but the judgement of others is what keeps you straight. The sting of ridicule and rejection. But you know deep down you can't function as a user so you stop and learn to see a better way of life. I get it man
Keith aged looks wise a lot from the late 1970's in just a few years. He looks a lot older in all 80's vids...even very early Tattoo You vids from 81-82.
@@crackernumber2 Yeah I know. He did age a lot over those years looks wise. Too many drug fueled coke benders with Ronnie Wood where they stayed up for 3 or 4 days straight. Lol. He's still rocking though and in better shape than most at his age.
Even when he was pissed at Jagger, the Stones meant everything to him. Didn’t like the soy boy interviewer though. Music of all genres sung songs about violence. Hell violence is a part of human beings. It’s not like the Stones were singing about shooting people dead in the streets just because they thought that’s cool to do!
I always find it rather amusing that DIRTY WORK is criticized for its violent themes when the previous album (UNDERCOVER) is far nastier in tone, right down to the ugly album cover. I've even read one review that said DIRTY WORK was so nasty as to be almost unlistenable, which again, I find wayyy off the mark.
@Mikale wunderfull Comparatively it was tame to what was going on because the 80's saw the emergence of "shock rock," a genre that had little to do with music but pushed the boundaries of good taste and bludgeoned the senses with grotesque, sideshow-style performances. By contrast, The Stones were steeped in the early blues records which reflected the violence of the day and called out social injustice. Violence has always been part of The Stones' music, but it doesn't define their reason for being.

after a decade smack habit. He was drinking a lot to make up for it. also, kept snorting daily pharmaceutical cocaine
