As soon as I got to the video before I even watched, I went and ordered the mold. I'm in the US so the shipping was more than the mold, lol, but it looks so cool. Now on to the video, 😉. Ohhhhhh, yes, these are beautiful! I can't wait to get my mold and PLAY. Thank you, as always, for sharing your wonderful talent with us.
😅🤩💕 that's awesome! I know the shipping is expensive, but this mold is definitely worth it! I absolutely love it💖 Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video as well🥰

Beautiful 😍 could you please tell me what consistency is needed & as a newbie I only have ultra fine glitter would this work. Thanks for talking the time to read this 😘 sending Cornish love 💘
Thank you. You want the consistency to be a little thicker than nail polish... I usually suggest a 50/50 mix of varnish/ glitter... yes, fine glitter will work fine
These are so beautiful and sparkly. I have a question, what did you use in your base coat for the color and sparkle? 1st time I have seen clear gloss varnish in a project. Thanks for the tip.
Just WOW WOW WOW. Stunning from top to bottom. First of all that mold, and then your base color and those scallops on the side of the mold. I must go see how much the mold is. You're so talented. 💖💖💖
Yet again a huge WOW from me. I haven't been brave enough to try any of your designs yet but when I do I will definitely mention your page so others can join and see your amazing work. Thank you so much for sharing xx
@@moldsandshapes3783 Hi. It's so easy to be enthusiastic when it comes to your molds....lol...they have the best quality and the design's are amazing. x
Absolutely beautiful! I have the Duraclear Gloss Varnish. Have you ever used it on acrylic blanks before? Do you think it’s okay to put it on them? Thank you so much. Love watching your videos. 😁
Thank you!💕 I have, but only for my stained glass style pieces... it would likely show on clear acrylic blanks since there would be a slight texture and shine difference. So if you were to use on acrylic, you'll likely either need to do full coverage or seal with a resin topcoat.
Absolutely amazing. I love the red, the glitter, the molds and the the designs you made with the glitter and the dots and the gold trim. I guess I absolutely love them lol❤️🥰😍
This custom mix that you used, a brilliant deep fucshia (?) It is so very stunning. Would you share with me its composition or do you sell it ready made ? I absolutely LOVE it !! These coasters (as usual) are simply GORGEOUS. You clearly are so talented. Thank you for sharing this tutorial !
@@amarojunk it's been awhile since I made mine and I'm finding it hard to remember. I'm thinking I ordered some different shades of red from Eye Candy Pigments. They had just put those colors out for sell because they were their new reds to go along with their others. I got a kind of sample kit of like 4 different red shades. Some were a more true red and some shades lighter and darker with different tones, if that is the correct word, and I used one or a mix of one and a tiny bit of red paste to make it flow better.
@@sturkiestercreations Thanks for your response and too funny. I JUST ordered some reds from Eye Candy about 1 hours before I got your reply - lol. THANK YOU
These are gorgeous. I’m a little confused about the first pigment you poured in in the pink color. What exactly is that. Do you have a video on doing that. Or do you just buy it and pour it. I’m new at resin and don’t understand. Thx.
Hi! It's just the clear resin mixture with mica powders mixed in to make the color I wanted..it looked pink in liquid form, but was more red once cured. So it's the base color you see for the coasters in the video.
Another question, I will be working with another silicon tray mold, and added Fall leaves. I do have flat stick on leaves to use in the mold, but the colors don't "pop" (meaning, not as bright colored) as well. I also have a set of leaves (fake ones from Amazon) that don't lay flat but have more vibrant colors to them. Can I somehow manipulate the varnish and paint the brighter color leaves with the varnish - that will undoubtedly pop up over the edge of the mold? Will they stiffen and also stay in place within the mold... and offer up kind of a 3D kind of look? ~or should I stick with the cling on leaves? Ty.
Sorry Cathy, I had started to reply to your question then got pulled away from my phone and forgot to go back ... I'm not sure if the varnish would be enough to flatten the leaves...I would maybe try pressing the leaves in books or something heavy first to flatten then a bit... then use the technique in this video to create your design ua-cam.com/video/R3StfULKpR4/v-deo.html
@@LiaDiaDesigns I know they won't flatten. ;) What I'm.wondering is - if I first paint the leaves with clear varnish - will that protect (stiffen them up enough) and once dried will I be able to keep part of them submerged under the resin layer in the mold and the rest of the leaf that's sticking up above the resin line? A resin tray with movement if you will. (They are fake leaves from Amazon. They are made to push up a little bit on a flat surface). **I'm not trying to flatten them out. ☺️ Do you know if my idea will work?
They are absolutely stunning. I have only just discovered your channel, and I've already watched so many of your videos and you have a truly natural talent for this craft. All of your designs are beautiful.x
I am new to trying varnish via your you tube videos here. I am working on a resin tray and will be adding my 1st time - varnish with a glitter mix to the resin tray to finish up design. How long does it take for varnish to dry (before I add the final (2nd) coat of the clear resin).? And thank you.
Hey Cathy, it really depends on the varnish you're using and how thick you're applying it. A thin layer I would allow a couple hours to be safe... thick layers with lots of glitter I usually leave it at least 4-6 hours or overnight to be safe.
I just found you today and I love love love you already lol I'm fairly new to resin and getting more supplies all the time can I get these shards in silver and do you have a link ... I'm older and not so bright on computer lol ..i subscribed your fantastic teacher

I haven't really had any issues, have you shaken the enamel paint well? You could also try pouring the amount of paint you need in a little container and let it sit for 15 minutes or so, the enamel will thicken a bit, which may help.
Also, lightly clean your resin edges with a little isopropyl alcohol to remove any fingerprints, that could cause the paint not to stick as well.
