I made a paperweight a while back using epoxy out of a stag beetle exoskeleton that I found, and have been looking for ideas for a bottom on it. Thanks for the video and inspiration!
Laura thank you for sharing that is so beautiful ....you make me want to do one I’m going to save my flowers and make one.... I love lavender ... thank you again.
Thank you for sharing. I want to make some paperweights for gifts. But I'm confused on the measurements for the catalyst. I'm using the same product you are. The back of the container just gives drops per like 1 inch, 3/4 inch, 1/2 inch. I know how many oz my mold is.
Love the video! They are beautiful! I've looked everywhere for deeper dome type molds like in your video. I'm finding all sorts of shapes and sizes but none like yours. Where to buy? Tried amazon, hobby lobby, michaels, etc. Thank you.
This is the mold I used, be sure to not overfill like I did! It is also the one used in the video. Some of the blooms discolored in the resin, others did not. Play around and have fun! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002NHLIU4/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=gardenanswe0a-20&linkId=49e4edb5be66404dabd1c2dc59932060&language=en_US
We are sorry, this was a craft idea that Laura created and we simply shared. We are certainly not experts in this, but you might want to double check the solution you used, and make sure it was at room temperature.
This was very detailed and clear. Thank you. I'm planning to make one using fake flowers from my son's wedding.

This video was produced years ago, you have tried all the best sources, not sure if there are other online sources? I wish we could be of more help!
Hi can you please share the link for the resin you've used I can't find it. Thank you 😁
Can you please post the supplies you are using? There are quite a few molds on Amazon and I don't know which one will work best! Thanks!

Can you add a picture? If so would you have to cover it with a plastic cover?
Possibly, but the resin might effect the photo even if covered. And no, the resin hardens so no cover is needed.
My paperweights turned out kind of cloudy/frosted on the rounded part. Any idea how to fix that??
