@@CorynthianLeather yeah, it's definitely the best album since for we are many! its melodic, but instrumentally heavy like their old stuff. the band has done a good job returning to their roots. Oli will be badly missed though :(!

Oli is a legend, but ATR hasn't made anything more than mediocre since For We Are Many. This song is just more of the same mediocrity. It is back to the uninspired, mindless shredding of A War You Cannot Win, with just a small glimpse of Oli's old passion around the 2:20 mark.
I would rather listen to literally any song on any of their other albums up to and including For We Are Many, even their cover of Believe in Nothing, and I fucking HATE Nevermore. At least it sounds like it took more than 10 minutes to write.
I don't blame Oli for any of that, I'm pretty sure Phil is the root of the problem. Inexplicable that almost everything they release is trash, yet Oli would still have unrelated solos/lessons that still sounded just as good as when they were actually still metalcore.

These new songs are awesome regardless if it's not what people want. All That Remains had always tried to evolve and people didn't like it. At least they were never stale.

I never wanted fall of ideals 2, I wanted a band who were in my opinion still creating good music with Overcome, the last 3 albums for me were intolerable. That’s just an opinion, just as you stated yours.
That's in Part true though.
I liked bits and pieces of AWYCW and TOoF but Madness was intolerable for the most part. Overcome and For We Are Many had more radio sounding moments but they were still good. Madness just sounded like they were trying to jump to the FFDP camp.
RIP Oli Herbert. My thoughts are with you guys in this difficult time. Oli was one of the few to get me more into extreme guitar playing and way heavier music. He always slung my favourite guitar models; The Ibanez Xiphos and the Jackson Warrior!

They are very underrated. They would be a bigger band if they toured a lot but demon hunter isnt a full time gig for the band. They record and release an album every 2-3yrs and probably tour a couple months in each album cycle.
It’s hard to find Demon hunter fans...... I only know about hem because a friend showed me but they truly are amazing and underrated

Music against communism is necessary. In Spain a lot of young people are comunist. When I did learn about it I did start being totally against it. I got really sad when I found that a lot of bands of my childhood were comunist or woke in their lyrics.
