    LYRICS:
One by one, they stand single file
To see the king of the hill atop his worthless pile
    The king has no clothes
    Throw stones
    Watch him implode
All for one or are we all alone
Brick by brick, it's a house built on lies
Because illusion is easy to young adoring eyes
    It's not hard to see
    Through deceit
    Make them believe
Fight the stampede, be the one to lead
    All my missteps, I retrace
    Every failure, I'll erase
    My pride is gone
I find the strength to carry on
Looking back, what's left of me
Am I the person that I wanna be
    Do I belong
I find the strength to carry on
Rung by rung, he's climbed up to the top
But once the engine is running, it's hard to make it stop
    Ignore what you're told
    Eyes closed
    Dig from below
Don't care where you're from, just where you go
Step by step, we're ignoring the signs
That cocky bastard is planting the seeds of his demise
    There's nothing to gain
    Only shame
    We fan the flames
Fight through the pain, live another day
    Just one more day
    All my missteps, I retrace
    Every failure, I'll erase
    My pride is gone
I find the strength to carry on
Looking back, what's left of me
Am I the person that I wanna be
    Do I belong
    Do I belong
    Writing’s on the wall
That Cheshire smile says you don't have the courage to take the fall
    You're not fooling anyone
    You're no one
    All my missteps, I retrace
    Every failure, I'll erase
    My pride is gone
I find the strength to carry on
Looking back, what's left of me
Am I the person that I wanna be
    Do I belong
    Do I belong

@Mezzy Mez Sad. Devil likes to make his way in and ruin families. Look what occured with the lead singer of As I lay Dying. Phil is a Christian but keeps it to himself but does reflect some of that in a lot of his music. I bring it up because in the 20 years I been a Christian I see this occur more often than not.

I remember going through some of the songs I used to listen to on Spotify a few months ago and found some older songs from ATR (This Calling and Not Alone to name a few) and clicked on the artist page to see if I could find some other cool songs. Then I saw that they'd put out a new album. I first listened to This Probably Won't End Well, A Reason For Me To Fight and Divide and thought "Hmm, this is pretty good" but none of them even compare to this song.
Forget "Best song off the album". Forget "Best song from ATR". This is, and probably forever will be the best song I've heard. This is now the benchmark for every song I hear from now until I die. It really is that good in my opinion.

The Order of Things is not my favorite ATR album, but if you approach it as ATR branching out and writing a hard rock album that has some incredible deep cuts, it's a solid album, and this song in particular is a high light. Plus it brings me back to a point in my life where these lyrics were extremely relevant to me, and is another reminder of Oli's amazing guitar work.
