Inspiration
Úlfhédnar were feared legendary Norse/Germanic warriors. Úlfhédnar translates to "wolf shirt" in old norse, implying that the warriors wore wolf pelts into battle. Like berserker warriors, they were believed to transform in the fury of battle, and fight with the power of the wolf. The Germanic clan Hundings (Wolf Clan) terrorized their enemies by saying they had dog head warriors, and Úlfhédnar likely inspired the wolfman myths of ancient Europe that we know so well today. In the saga of Heimskringla, Úlfhédnar are described as Odin's elite warriors.

My one year old daughter heard this and built a longboat out of her cot, and now she’s on a voyage to raid unknown lands with her shied maidens!
Update 1 year later: she raided many lands with riches. Fleet of boats she has, and I know address her as The Queen, and I work in her kitchen.

Agreed! We used to have 2 Siberian huskies, and 2 german shepherd husky mixes all at once! Never owned a full blooded wolf, but with training and space to run, we're sure they can be quite awesome pets! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
