As much as John Squire's playing/composing massively inspired me, I suspect I'd much rather go to the pub and share a beer with Aziz than JS - he comes across as intelligent, genuine and kind - and generous with his thoughts.
Hi Pete. Yes, Aziz was great company.
Will we work together again?
Watch this space...
Couldn't agree more. Sounds like a top, down to earth bloke. Love squires but I think it would be the most uncomfortable pint of my life. Still wouldn't refuse though.....
Talented insightful underrated he deserves to play with Ian Brown again he did a great job in the Roses who would want to follow John Squire?hope to hear and see him play live again!
Had the pleasure of meeting him …. Related to one of my cousins …. Almost 40 years …. Heard him play and saw his small studio and he took me to small studio in Manchester…..
Never forgot his brilliance as a guitar player ….. was looking forward to seeing him with Porcupine Tree on tour in US but they didn’t grant him
A visa post 911
Was gutted …..
what an amazing talent
Love this interview, one of my favourite guitarist, loved him since Unfinished Monkey Business.
One of the UKs great musicians, a legend , I adore unfinished Monkey Business, it’s one of the albums I was buzzing to get my hands on when I knew it was being released and boy did it not disappoint, still love it to this day , golden greats, Solarized are also bangers but my favourite will always be Ian’s Debut and Aziz is the genius who made it happen with Ian aswell obviously, love inder Goldfinger aswell .
Can't get enough of Aziz....top man, then his playing, unbelievably sublime absolutely sublime....peace and love Aziz from M24...play on friend
Seen Aziz play on Stockport market bout 35 years ago at the boars head ,back room was brilliant.✌️🌈
Azziz played with my band called Hard To Handle in the Boars head at that time it was awesome!! I was lead vocalist and Azziz was on fire!..a great friend
@@thevoiceguyschannelofficia9051 yes indeed I remember it well brilliant 👍
Interesting and down to earth guy. Fabulous guitarist too.
His playing is a joy to watch.
You seem like a genuine sound human being and fab guitarist and songwriter/artist.
Great to hear from Aziz! Lucky enough to have seen him play with IB a few times. Great interview PJD👍✌️
Thank you Mark. Which Stone Rose should I ask to speak to next?
@@ACelticStateOfMind Mr Brown, naturally😮
Fascinating stuff PJD👍💚👏👊 Thanks for creating mate
Nice one Martin. We have a few more interviews of this type coming up on the channel.
Great interview. Genuinely nice guy and really good too! PS You’re not that bad a business man.
Absolutely brilliant! Thank you.
Aziz is a proper top dude. He replied to me a couple times on his channel. Corpses is my favourite Aziz/Brown track and he does give a mini tutorial on how to play it properly. What he played here was killer...I just wish I knew what tuning it was so I can copy it 😉 sounded like dropped D but I am s**t with that stuff. Anyway, nice one whoever you are and peace to ya.
That were great as Aziz would probably say - great guitarist, musician and human. Kindred spirit Paul with content creation and comminication. Really enjoyed this one
Nice one. He was very generous with his time. I wish he and Ian Brown would record one more LP together.
@@ACelticStateOfMind That would be so cool. I just love their partnership. You can hear Aziz’ influences so heavily on those earlier albums. There are multiple, gorgeous guitar pieces and also licks which are cocaine for the ears, gotta listen again and again 😊
That was a great watch 😎
Cheers mate. It was great to spend some time with Aziz, who is a lovely fella.
What a lovely, talented man.
Ian Brown needs to get him back on stage with him
Johnny Kash-miri. Nice! :-)
The press have always had it in for Ian Brown, especially of this much loved and admired.
I wonder if they are still friends and why they stopped making music together?
I’m not talking out of school when I say that Ian wanted to explore a less guitar-based sound, which led to him and Aziz not writing together after a certain point.
I didn’t get any sense of a ‘fall-out’, and Aziz spoke very fondly of Ian in the time we spent together.
@@ACelticStateOfMind thanks
Johnny Kashmiri 😂😂😂
John Terry aged a bit
Since when was John Terry Asian. Get your eyes tested boy!
