I have visited many sites with useless information re setting up I Phone (IOS) with the Gamesir I purchased a Gamesir T1S and this video was excellent in the set up Thanks for your time
Are you a teacher? Best video on how to pair the game sir with Tello. Your face was priceless when Tello hit the ceiling on take off. No damage done I hope. Thank you very much.
Excellent video, clear and friendly commentary...I battled to pair and did not have an idea where the home button was on the Gamesir. Defnitely subscribing...
Thank you for the video. My tello is sitting home with all the extras still in the box, just got delivered. Once everything is charged tomorrow I will watch your video again for instructions. Thanks again.
Sorry. Wanted to get this, but unavailable on Amazon. :( UPDATE Aug 16, 2019: I was disappointed that the controller in the link is unavailable, but upon looking a little further, I found the T1D. Ordered it and am very pleased with it. This controller is a true game changer for the Tello. It is cool to be able to operate it just using your phone, but this controller adds sooo much to the flying experience. In spite of my somewhat unhappy start to this comment, I want to thank you for this video. It was what made me decide to go ahead and get this. Good stuff here! Let's go flying. :)
The exact Gamesir model that was designed to work with Tello is the T1D. Some people have experienced trouble with the T1S - it may or may not work, but the 'D' version always works. The Gamesir T1D is sold directly by DJI so is now easier to find.
You cracked me up with your facial expression when you hit something taking off and bits of the Tello flew off! Glad I'm not the only one that does that :) Thanks for an easy to follow video.
@@YourTechReport They certainly are well made ! Thanks again for the great "how to" - I'll be getting myself a Gamesir after this and be back to follow your set up guide.
This was the best short video on this controller and drone as I have just bought them and had them up and running after a couple of minutes. Thank you for the shortcuts image as it is too small on my phone. Loved it when you hit the roof .... oops
After I watch your video I bought the GameSir T1 controller, and it works well with my Tello drone. Thanks to your video, I knew which controller to buy. Thank you.
Thumbs up from me, straight to the point YTR...just about to purchase a Tello and you have helped me make some major decisions before purchasing a Tello and if they can be controlled from anything but a smart phone screen, how wrong was I...…
I have the T1d - no lights inside the flip-up phone holder - but it works fine. The buttons for flipping, etc don't work either but I don't really care. I'm used to flying my Mavic and Phantom, so this is just a fun thing for around the house.
Thanks for the great video. I also have the Gamesir T1s connected to the phone via Bluetooth but I find that the flip functions as described in the diagram don't work. Any idea?
It is brilliant. Tried using the cell phone for the last 4 weeks and it is not great. Got the controller today and was up and running and it is so easy and accurate, go get one you will not regret it
Another great vid! I look forward to the future where drones don’t sound like 1,000 angry bees. Also, I’m forever grateful for the sound balance in the drone videos you guys put out because I never feel like I need to stick a hot poker in my ear regardless of how close you get the drone to the camera :)
good video! so on my android s9 when i try to pair the gamesir T1d remote wifi shows "device available" I click pair, "paring" then i get something like "this device use an app" and i never get the paring process fully completed, BUT the remote will work anyway.[4 solid leds]... so my question is this normal, happens to others also?? FYI: I did the update(s) (firmware)
Outstanding video. Very clear and easy to follow regarding setup and pairing with the phone and Tello. Thanks for you efforts. Just subscribed to you channel.
Hi my game sir is a little different. It has no lites inside. I have had it connected with android and iOS phones at different times but usually the time runs out and the tello overheats. It seems like a mini usb cable connecting the phone and gamesir would be nice. It works great with my mavic pro. Great video though!!
The manual does not memtion iOS but I was able to connect. For some reason I can not save recorded video. It shows it is recording on phone but it is not saved?
Your amazon links is sending me to a roku not a T1. Any chance you could fix the link? I've heard lots of confusion on which model to purchase so I want to get the exact one that you have. Any chance you could show us it working on an android? Thanks!
Sorry about that...just updated the link...thanks for letting us know!! As for showing it on an Android device, the setup is mostly the same, except you press different buttons on the remote to get it in "Android" pairing mode (which are shown in the included instructions). We'll try and do an update for Android users:)
Some people are saying that the remote has a bad lag when controlling and some say the Bluetooth connection interferes when recording video. Are you having any of these issues?
This can be true use a Male To Male 5Pin OTG Converter Adapter Lead Data Cable to link controller & phone will solve the interference issue just be sure to get the right male connection each end to suit 😀
Thanks for this vid!! On my "NEXT DRONE" list but waiting for the upgraded version. I have made several suggestions to RYZE about a adjustable camera lens. Not a huge decision breaker but the clone versions of this have that feature (along with a included TX) By far not the same quality but they are causing a bit of a stir for half the price!

In the instruction manual that comes with the GameSir controller, it gives you different buttons to press on the remote for pairing with different devices; here's what the manual says for Android devices: If this is your first time turning on your T1, hold down the “A” button and “Home ” button simultaneously for 2 seconds, the “Android” Symbol on the controller will start flashing in green. It means that the controller is ready to be connected to your Android Tablets or Phones.
