Now I understand the reason for high price. They do a lot to ensure quality. The best thing was that they make sure all the batteries are around same voltage in a single pack.. I cannot do that if I need to make battery pack at home as I will have to buy lot of them.. On the website I didn't find any lithium battery pack for sale.

All lithium ion batteries are being imported from China, they are just doing assembly.

Technically, they are 'making' the batteries. Kyuki individual peice ko "Cell" bolte hai. Usi "Cell" ko raw material ki tarah use krke Series/Parallel mein daal ke "Batteries" banayi jaa rhi hai. So yeah, they are 'making' the Battery and not assembling.

Currently they use spot welding for connect the battery it may cause over heat the cells and battery dry quick
My suggestion they can go for aluminium 375micron wirebonder
It will help to connect the cells in parallel and series in same side also it will helps to increase battery life and capacity
