I made those letters VARNA at 9:48 First we made the same for PLOVDIV 2019 as then PLOVDIV was the euro capital of culture, but then Varna municipality also ordered same for their city. Happy to see they are still standing :-)

Thats my country!!! The Dolphins you showed i was there every summer wen i was there. The sea is just the best. Thank you for visiting my beautiful home country ❤
Varna is amazing! There’s a panoramic place on the other side of the bridge where you can observe the whole city. Also you could visit the Alaja monestry (a monestry into caves high on a …. Rock wall?) also the pobiti kamyni- that’s like a mini desert with huge rocks not human made, also the palace in Evksinograd also the historical museum with the oldest gold in the whole world. Could have a coffee on the top of Black Sea hotel (there is a bar on top of the building)
@@JordanandEmily It is no coincidence that Varna is called the maritime capital of Bulgaria. As a native of Varna, I like it more during the rest of the year when it is calm. Hemingway said that everything far from the sea is province and got it damn right. Exchanging a kidney for a little house here by the beach where I can paint and write till the end of eternity.
I think I’ve caught up now. When we were in Canada & Alaska, we noticed the seagulls there were huge too, they also had these there birds that looked like magpies but they had really long tails, very strange. Nice place, great park. Don’t worry about what the other comments say about the coffee vending machines, if you liked it that’s the main thing. Stay safe, miss you both, love you, mum.xx ❤️🤪❤️
You guys are so adorable. 3:00 tip: 10 meters from that coffe machine is a cigar and snack shop that can brew you a espresso with real milk for about double the price, milk in street machines is powder milk, good enough for for the price.
@@JordanandEmilyyou walked on the upper path into the sea garden. Downhill has another path and literally there is like bar, bar, bar, restaurant, bar, restaurant, coffee shop xd right on the beach
@@JordanandEmilywhen you guys said the restaurants were expensive, how expensive were they exactly? Hi! I'm from Varna. I am very glad that you visited this amazing city and that you enjoyed it. However, I think if you really want to experience this seaside city, you should come in the summer and stay at least a few days. I think that you will be really impressed and you will have the opportunity to enter the daily life of the people of Varna. Thank you for this super interesting vlog!🤍💚❤
Thanks so much for watching! We reeealllly want to go back to Varna and really all of bukgaria just to experience the different seasons! We could see how it would change so much for winter to summer!
@@JordanandEmily I'd recommend the Rhodope Mountains (Pamporovo) - there are some very mystical places, and great shots for pics/videos. Snezhanka peak has a tower and it's at 2k meters altitude. You can enjoy a 360 view, and it's absolutely gorgeous. Rezovo is another interesting place, as you can see the Turkish border just outside. And Plovdiv - it has a lot of history, and a very interesting neighborhood called "Kapana" (its literal translation is "The Trap" lol) but there are a lot of bars on the streets, restaurants, it's made for young people. And there's a small outdoor marketplace for handmade stuff.
@@JordanandEmily You handled your presentation very well. Skipping the roman thermae was a good choice for someone with limited time. Seagulls are super annoying and do strike your hands or head if you are eating something trying to make you drop it, especially a Doner Kebab.

The Dolphinarium is where you can watch a show with trained dolphins🐬 I've walked down the Varna Garden path many times. The Navy museum is also a neat site within it, and if you go all the end to what is called the 'athlete' side, the view below looks like a Californian beach with palm trees.
