Thank you President Smith for refreshing/informative video . I am a proud #NAAGA member since 2017 after finding out about the organization. Born and raised in Alabama in the 1950s Jim Crow period, so I knew why we kept a loaded shotgun in the closet and what it meant when the shotgun moved from the closet to the head of the bed. At age 10, my father taught us how to use a revolver for safety when we moved north leaving family behind. Please keep our history, education and training flowing. We must never forget our past, yet continue building on it to teach others and be that beauty called vital influencers. Thank you for sharing and be safe.

Is there a n.a.a.g.a gun association in South Carolina?
NAAGA is a nationwide organization. I am from SC and I have been a proud member since 2017. However, if you are asking if there are chapters in SC, there are several as well as a digital chapter that you can join if you are either unable to join a physical chapter.

Great job explaining the Culture of NAAGA . Proud member of Bass Reeves Gun Club. Yes, we talk about them as a way to decompress. We train as a way to promote responsible gun ownership, firearm discipline, self defense and to reinforce proper safety. Frequent fellowship and training reinforces skills and helps promote mental well-being in a pressurized environment. For some putting rounds down range relieves stress like golf does for others. Thanks again Phil for creating a safe place to learn, train and grow. A major plus is the education on the Black Tradition of Arms. It helps establish a connection to the discipline of shooting and sense of community. 👍🏾

Now we need our own investigating teams That will investigate the police and hold them accountable We also need a council to hold these judges and DA's accountable That's telling us that shooting unarmed black men and women is justifiable.
There are Government organizations that do that. Get hired by thwm

I support this Organization. Blacks are US Citizens and just like myself supports and defend The US Constitution. I hope to see more Blacks speaking out against the attacks we are witnessing today against the 2nd Amend. It is about the ultimate infringment on that precious God given right. I am also a volunteer for an Article V Convention of States to reel in Federal Government abusive powers and return the power of The People to the States.
A Citizen accepts personal responsibility for the safety of the body politic of which they are a member; defending it, if need be, with their life! If you are not prepared to defend the lives and liberty of the innocent, you should not expect yours to be defended, much less hold office or have a vote. Every law-abiding citizen must be armed. YOU need to be armed.

Well, as Americans it's our right AND our duty to be armed, in order to protect ourselves and our fellow Americans from communism and other forms of tyranny. If we allow ourselves to be divided based on skin shade, we'll probably end up facing off at the wrong enemy when the s--- hit's the fan. That would be tragic. I appreciate you saying I was welcome to join, and that you don't hate anybody. Aside from usurpers of liberty I don't hate anyone either. Heck, as I see it, if you and I are both concerned with protecting liberty, which we seem to be... isn't that a commonality that dwarfs any other traits we may possess? Especially one as trivial as our DNA? Lovers of liberty won both the revolutionary and the civil war. Both wars had ending slavery as a stated objective, as slavery is completely inconsistent with any kind of liberty. Most people know that about the civil war, but to know it about the revolutionary war, just see Jefferson's original draft of the declaration of independence. It will leave no doubt. Liberty is liberty.

As a national organization, our local chapters keep abreast of the laws and policies in their cities and states. Members join NAAGA nationally and then find a chapter locally that they can use as a resource for information.

I have been legally carrying for over 27yrs ,I have 3 carry permits and i've been a member of NAGGA since 2015 .I refuse to be a soft target ."It ani't no fun when the rabbit has the gun ".
This is something that the Black community has needed since 1865. I don't even own a gun but I'm going to join this organization because it needs to be supported. Thank you so much for creating it!

What afro americans really need, is an experienced, effective gun lobby, that represents their interests

I am a NAAGA supporter, NRA Fire arm Instructor and Close Quarter Combat Instructor. The goal here is to support those who want to be a safer person in using firearms.
Mr. Smith... I'm a member of NAAG... My questions is... you or me having a AR is fine, but how does that protect the general public when that weapon is used to kill a mass of people at a time?
That of course is what it is designed to do. I don't want to lose my gun rights either... why do we need high powered mega clip magazines in the hands of the general public? Its not working too well so far!
