Karen, the field looks much better after you ran the topper over it to knock down the tall growth. The new loader will prove to be a very useful tool on the farm. Blessings to you.
Awesome video again Karen thanks, it's so satisfying when you look back and the topper has done it's job. You will love that little machine before the winter is done really suits you thanks again take care and stay safe 👍 😊.
its not a toy. its a need. saving youre back . they are heavy bales. everyone needs something like that. mucking out. muck cart, spreading , loading. they become very usable very quickly. you wonder how you managed without. good on you karen. lovely personality, and good footage. keep smiling and happy.
I love your videos!!! What is your full time job in town? Do you plan on farming full time? You are doing a great job already from what I can see...BIG Congratulations to you and your dad.....that easyrun .....needs to be bought too!!!!
Hi Karen, another great video, good back ground music. working hard as usual. again everything well explained. don't be too hard on yourself Karen, the topping of the rushes, is a great improvement to the field. and you're getting on great with your new loader. 💯
Hi Karen another enjoyable vid as always, I would have used the loader to push the post in but also nothing wrong with having a workout as well, also that loader will become such a valuable and well used piece of kit on the farm that you will hate to see it go, anyway good luck with the TB test hope you get clear result and you don't have any reactors.
That field is quite high up and I wouldn't be bother driving the loader all the way up there and on the soft ground for the sake of one post. I'll probably use it in the spring for a bigger job though
I’ve said it before, but you certainly can grow some good grass ,and on not the easiest of land. I know you will get those rushes beat now you’ve got the bit between your teeth! Proper farming.
Hey Karen, I have to say "you did a fine job with the loader" You'll be a Pro in no time. You might want to carry your bales just a little lower, It seemed like you were having some trouble seeing over the top of the bale when you were going forward. All you need is just a few inches off the ground. Other than that, Great Job. Enjoyed your video, Thanks for sharing.
@karenmoynihanfarm Karen your good, it takes time to learn these things. I have operated all kinds of heavy equipment over the years and drove Tractor Trailer for years. So these things just come naturally to me. You'll do fine, just keep practicing. 🙂
Since you have the use of the loader if you have any more post to drive. would you consider using the bucket of the loader to drive them down? Give the sledge a rest (not to mention the arms) Hope all went well with testing
Karen you have great looking cattle the very best of luck with the test Will you sell a few of the cattle you ran down the road ? Cattle like those are a great price in Marts
Karen have you tried wickwiping the rushes with roundup to get rid of them we use the technique in Australia to got rid of Sporobulus (Parramatta grade) it works. Very wekk on susceptible species
Be careful of them small loaders we have jcb 403 plus brillant machine lift anything but if u have the load up high on uneven surface they will turn over keep front down as much as possible when your travelling
Awesome Karen. Will the loader push the posts dow?. You can then finish it with a few whacks of the sledge. The top of the post is too high to be able to get a good swing at it with the sledge. You are exhausting yourself and getting very little return in terms of driving the post down, Maybe a posr driver next year. Great video as always Karen.
it takes a bit of getting used to with a loader but you did well if you get a chance just take it out have a mess around for a while it becomes 2nd nature to use it but you did well
Loader is some job there is a hander way to take off draw bar just take out back pin itch will tilt pull out ur locking pin in draw bar then it pulls out
I dont feel its been said enough karen but with that drawbar you only need to remove the pins and slide it to the side out of the way of the pto shaft, no need to remove the whole cradle assembly, i mean its not like it seized or anything... just live for the pure hardship. 😂😂😂 sorry 🤣 Keep er lit doll 🤙🏼
Ireland has a lot of hills and mountains although none of them are very high. This is Kerry in the south west of Ireland where we have the country's highest mountain
If the ground is soft and wet you could push the posts in with your new loader! it saves a lot of hard work.
This lovely loader plus this artic which is very good for you get a few pallets and put the grab on it make it easier to see when putting it on ❤
The more you use the loader it will become second nature to you Karen it beats piking any day of the week, Good luck.
Karen you are a inspiration, the topping is great , the loader you shine the cattle looking Beautiful, love you all from Australia ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great video, nice to see you getting more and more used to your loader.
Your a legend Karen. Keep up the good work

Brilliant video Karen 📹 👏 👌 👍 🙌 😀
Loader will push posts in , though hard to beat a workout. Great job 👍
Those rushes should rot down well over the winter, will provide a bit of fertilizer next spring. Nice to get the field cleaned off.

Thank you. I didn't realise it until I looked back on the video so I must try to make a conscious effort to lower it in future

Smashing stock. You will miss the loader when it goes 😢
Doing great job thire
you are beautiful Ms. Moynihan. Another great video!!

Yes we think we will. I will discuss that in my next video (hopefully Sunday) after we weighed them
Good stuff
Karen have you tried wickwiping the rushes with roundup to get rid of them we use the technique in Australia to got rid of Sporobulus (Parramatta grade) it works. Very wekk on susceptible species
Loverly lil loader
Holy Moly woman. Respect
Thank you 😊
Get some diesel in a squirty bottle, Get that hitch soaking in diesel, give it a tap n soak everytime ya take it off, it’ll free up in time.
I'm just waiting a bit, so Im not first. 😄
Always playing it cool 😂
@@karenmoynihanfarm Quite right, I wouldn't want to be labelled a Bell end 😄😄
The cattle are in great shape, a bit of practice with the loader and you will be flying 😊👍
@@FarmerP 🤣🤣🤣
Cattle look really good with you. Give it a few weeks with the loader and you won't need the sprong at all lol. Field looks good after the topping.
Flying it kar fair play to ya.,get some practice off camera if it makes u feel more comfortable. It all takes time but youre doing great ❤
You some woman for one woman great work👍
Topa damorn'n miss Moynihan, ya still look'n great ❤ lov'n ya work ang keep top'n ,especially before rushes go to seed from ol Will in Australia 😂😂

Oh Jimmy boy be calm we laddie haaaaaa
are you a genuine retard, or do you just act like one for social media attention?

good time of the year to cut rushes .........it really shakes them
At the end the COWS are Mooing they Love You .

Stand on the buggy and it will be much easier to knock the posts in
it takes a bit of getting used to with a loader but you did well if you get a chance just take it out have a mess around for a while it becomes 2nd nature to use it but you did well
Karen, I’ve no doubt but that in a short time you’ll be a dab hand at that loader. You’re doing just fine.
Karen get a post ramber it better the sledge hammer good luck with test
What plant is silage made from ?
You should use the loader to pick up the bale and shake it out rather than having to do it all with a fork
Would it not be hander to remove pull bar pin
Loader is some job there is a hander way to take off draw bar just take out back pin itch will tilt pull out ur locking pin in draw bar then it pulls out
I can't. Those pins have not moved in probably decades so now they're stuck so I have no choice but to take the whole thing off
Lots of rushes should hire flail in
I dont feel its been said enough karen but with that drawbar you only need to remove the pins and slide it to the side out of the way of the pto shaft, no need to remove the whole cradle assembly, i mean its not like it seized or anything... just live for the pure hardship. 😂😂😂 sorry 🤣

😂😂😂
My goodness it’s all go , do you ever get any time to yourself ?
I do 😂
hi Karen will you keep the loader
Rome wasn't built in a day
Nor will it be knocked 👍
👌
I always picture Ireland being flat as a pancake .I see some large hills in background . Where is the farm?
Ireland has a lot of hills and mountains although none of them are very high. This is Kerry in the south west of Ireland where we have the country's highest mountain
Wey aye man !
Thank you I`ll google earth it .@@karenmoynihanfarm
Excellent videos, well done to you. For me, though, be better without the music, rather hear the animals and the tractor 👍👍😊😊
I tend to throw on the music because a few "unsuitable words" slip out but I've done a bit of both in more recent videos so hope you enjoy those
I thought so. Thank you, I'll be your progress.@@karenmoynihanfarm
What hp is that loader?? Best of luck with the Tb test.. 🤞
39hp
do you bring them in or are they out all year?
They come in for winter. Ground gets too wet here
No bother to ye you get there XOXO ❤❤🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
