Love your videos! I wonder if in a few thousand years people will find all the Mepps spinners I lost before learning how to tie anything other than an overhead knot. You bring great energy and attitude to the fishing side of UA-cam.

For what it's worth, I've lost plenty of lures that were tied on with an improved clinch knot and a Trilene knot (most recently, a nice little white roadrunner). Yes, better knots hold better. But sometimes you hook into something that is just stronger than your knot, or stronger than your line, and you just have to let it go.
I can't even begin to guess how many crankbaits, rooster tails, and even spinnerbaits are caught on the tackle log in my uncle's farm pond. It's just part of fishing.
