    This is even better than any work I've ever seen on mainstream corporate media. 60 minutes and all those other shows can try, and they do, I suppose, but even just in trying, they have to please so many masters that it can never be as truthful and incisive as this. All morality aside, I suppose. I'm just simply saying, this is prize-winning journalism. Instead, we're looking at and being informed by reports from a journalist who Israel decided to TORTURE, while the US just stood by. Knowing full well that anything he'd reported upon (in terms of secrecy being breached) had been done so by 60 minutes and other mainstream, for-profit corporate media outlets already (no secrecy was breached). It stinks to high heaven.

    OMG. I'm halfway through and can't bear it. As an American Jewish cellist, I was in Jerusalem, playing in the Jerusalem Symphony, and my cousin invited me to go to Gaza, recently (1976) captured by Israel. In this video you see a clip of the sea. On the trip into Gaza I I saw mature date palms growing close to the ocean. It's completely understandable why someone (Jered Kushner) imagines hotels and condos there! It was a gorgeous, peaceful place--perfect for the wealthy and powerful.
    Ater listening to the left-wing Israeli in Loffredo's video, and knowing that the IDF was warned about the Hamas attack before October 7th, I'm wondering if Netanyahu purposely left the Kibbutz unprotected. It was full of left-wing Kibbutzniks, with a Palestinian-Israeli married couple living there. The thought sickens me, but does anyone have any information?

    • @Prayforpeace1109
      @Prayforpeace1109 8 днів тому +3

      We really need to have an independent investigation done regarding that event. Colonel Mcgregor thinks its highly feasible that this was allowed to happen as there were highly trained IDF members witnessing activity before it occured and Egyptian officials reported that the Israeli govt had ignored warnings. But I would like to know too.

    • @cvgodd1432
      @cvgodd1432 7 днів тому

      Yes he is being investigated by Israel Supreme Court because they gave him a lot of warnings and he didn’t listen. Then he made a fake report sheet or something like that. Israel could break into a civil war any second now. There’s a lot of internal fighting.

    Thank you for your work Chris Hedges, and I say this as a Serb... I 100% condemn the atrocities committed by the ethno-nationalist Milošević regime, but I do find some catharsis in how this Palestinian situation is throwing into stark relief the hypocrisy and double standards imposed by the collective "west" on the rest of the world. The IDF killed more civilians in the first two weeks of this current flare up of the conflict than the Serbs killed in the entirety of the Kosovo war, and yet Israel is still the golden child and all of the west is bending over backwards to legitimize Israel's actions through propaganda. It's sickening.
    Here's hoping we'll get to watch Netanyahu sweat in the Hague, just as we watched Milošević.

    his work keeps getting better and better, more practical as well. I sent Chris' post election vid to a Maddow loving longtime friend, the vid about the difference between a Trump admin vs. Dems, and what Kamala would have done, w/approval of all democrats. Chris said - in less than half an hour- what I've never been able to say. I don't have the gift of brevity. lastly, my Trump deranged friend -his ignorance defies belief- is "moving to Mexico"... "worse than Hitler", etc. called every journalist whose work I texted him (Max, Glenn, all of them, "Russian agents", yet he said, "well, that guy seems okay, not sure though" - his way of saying, "I trust him, he seems honest, truthful."
    we respect & need you, Chris! pls

    What kind of so-called religion or society promotes such vicious cruelty? My experience of Jewish school mates who moved to my Long Island town, Wantagh, when new suburbs were built were mainly very positive & I admired some who were very talented, e.g., I could only make it to second chair violinist in our High school orchestra sitting next to a very talented Jewish girl whom I admired. But when a boy I knew well came back from visiting Israel the first time, he was spewing very nasty bigotry.
